The category of deficiency includes two main components: physiological and mental. The notional category of deficiency is represented by the structure in the semantic field with the core and peripheral parts. The core of the semantic field of the mental deficiency includes three components: 1) medical terms of mental disorders; 2) lexis meaning underdevelopment of mental abilities; 3) lexical means expressing psychic disorders. The peripheral part of this mental unit has not been represented for special consideration in this work. Means of multiple personality disorder component within mental constituent of the category of deficiency in English have been presented. These problems are directly related to the problems of activating cognitive interest and cognitive activity in the learning processes. In pedagogy and psychology, considerable scientific and practical materials have been accumulated on the study of cognitive interest and the formation of cognitive activity among children of junior and high school age, by various psychological and pedagogical means, including the introduction of specialized educational subjects. An important role in solving these problems plays extracurricular work with schoolchildren. In the sixties of the last century, the need to involve scientists into the study processes was recognized and therefore developing new ways to organize the teaching process for the schoolchildren. So the combination of physics and mathematics schools appeared (PhMS). Despite more than a half-century history of the physics and mathematics school existence, the PhMS in the context of activating cognitive interest and cognitive activity is considered for the first time. Illustrated by the example of Tomsk State University Physics and Mathematics School, the structure, directions and methods used in this form of extracurricular work are shown. Such forms as a correspondence physics and mathematics school, an evening physics and mathematics school, a summer full-time physics and mathematics school combining rest and training for schoolchildren, as well as a winter physics and mathematics school are considered. Examples of curricular are given, organizational forms of work for different age groups of schoolchildren are described. It is shown how PhMS can be useful for all schoolchildren but at the same time help to identify gifted students. The efficiency of the PhMS was analyzed based on the results of the Unified State Exam. One of the solutions to this problem is the active use of the program “Remmina Remote Desktop” of the Linux operating system. Describes the features and step-by-step instructions for using the Remmina program in computer classes. Its use is recommended for training in computer classes of educational institutions of general, secondary or higher education. The main advantages of the program: the opportunity to observe the actions of the teacher on his desktop in the conference mode and return, if desired, to his own work. With the help of the Remmina program, the teacher has the opportunity to constantly or occasionally display the desktop of his monitor at workplaces of students. The function of the teacher is reduced to the voice explanations of the material shown. The experience of using the Remote Desktop Remmina program allows you to recommend its application for training in computer classes of educational institutions of general, secondary or higher education for the following reasons: • Remmina program activates interaction between the teacher and students and can be considered as an alternative to using a media projector with a screen. • The reliability of training in the event of a technical failure of available facilities (interactive whiteboard, media projector and others) increases. • The Remmina program can also be considered as a supplement to existing tools. The teacher, at the same time, has the possibility of a wider choice of means when submitting material in order to increase the students’ motivation for learning. • The application of the program does not require adjustments in the curricula of classes. 5258 | The peculiarities of communicative universals are examined on the basis of the two most prominent poets’ poetic discourse of the early XX century – symbolist K. D. Balmont and ego-futurist I. 5259 | The poet-governors’ creation in the classical medieval Azerbaijani literature is considerably allocated and made out in a special direction as the poetokratic literature. The actually of research is in the formation of the problem of the poetic governor’s psychological portrait in the native language’s classical poetry (Ghazi Burkhaneddin, Jahanshakh Hagigi, Shakh Ismayil Khatayi, Molla Panah Vagif), shown in differential lines in the lyrical hero’s characteristic, in the analysis of ideologically-aesthetic value of this phenomenon which practically does not have analogues in the world literature. Ghazi Burkhaneddin (1344–1398) as one of the first founders of the given literature has displayed and has sung in its divan (the collection of lyrical verses) of the poet-governor’s heroic image. Well-known both in Azerbaijan and in all Near East as the religion scientist, the commander, the governor and the poet, it is one of the first lyric poets in the Azerbaijanian poetry. The questions demanding a parity of creative humanism and activity on government are contrasting to the portrait of the hero of this poetry. The love to Turkic culture which found its reflection in brillian Nizami Ganjevi’s works, has made an essential impact on formation of the image of Turkic hero in Kazi Burhaneddin’s lyrics. Besides, rulling the state, which he himself created, he has practically realized the great Nizami’s dreams about the ideal governor. The history of the world literature has proved that in cases when the powerfull governor as well turned out to be a talented poet, his lyrical hero fought for the rights and freedom of his people with more courage. 5266 | Problems of dialogue, regulation of cognitive activity of the reader by means of the text are key to the theory of regulativity developed in Tomsk state pedagogical university, and the theory of intertextuality. The study is performed under the scientific directions. The indicated problem is connected with the highly complex philosophical and linguistic aspects of Mandelstam’s poetry and creativity as its outstanding representative. The creativity of Mandelstam is highly intertextual. The author previously identified five types of lexical regulative models of the intertextual type in it, therefore in this study was conducted an experiment, aimed at identifying their regulatory power. According to indications of language consciousness of the informants, the regulatory power of these structures are influenced by the following linguistic factors: the type of intertexts - respondents noted the key role of pretextual information, of precedent names; the location of intertexts in strong positions (the elements of the pretext of the first poetic stanza); the saturation of the intertextual elements of the poems – the more saturated intertextuality elements of the texts are, the higher their regulatory power. Within the whole text, the models with the minimal amount or the lack of pretextual information have the greatest regulative force, if the saturation coefficient of intertexts is high in the texts themselves. Extra-linguistic factors that affect the regulatory power of the texts include: the level of knowledge of informants; respondents‘ beliefs about their competence in assessing the understanding of the poems; emotional state during the experiment. 5267 | Introduction. V. Mayakovsky always willingly turned to the development of the expressive potential of the ancient genres. He used anthem, march, mystery, ode, message, conversation, etc. in his own way. The author for the first time presents transformations of the vision in the texts of the key importance for the understanding of Mayakovsky’s works of the Soviet era. The objective is to identify the genesis of the vision, to clarify the forms of its implementation in the works of V. Mayakovsky. Methodology and research methods. The study is based on the historical poetics methodology. Results. As a result of the work done, the vision is discovered in the form of an ancient proto-plot (a situation of appearing of the infernal person to the heroes of the Old Testament); in the form of the expanded story in Homer’s Odyssey and Virgil’s Aeneid (in the stories of the main characters about their descending into the realm of Hades, searching for the shadow of a person, getting the necessary information). The vision is best known as a genre of religious culture of the Middle Ages with a topic developed for the solution of didactic tasks. Finally, at the time of weakening of the religious feelings and the destruction of the genre, the expressive potential of the vision is preserved in the form of the particular artistic devices (“Prophet” by A. S. Pushkin). The central event of the vision in its various variants is an explicit or a virtual contact of a person with a representative of another world. In the lyrical plots of Mayakovsky’s poems - in “Extraordinary Adventure that Happened to Vladimir Mayakovsky at the Dacha”, “Jubilee”, “To Comrade Nette - a Steamer and a Man”, the expressive possibilities of the two sides communicating in the traditions of the ancient plot as the components of vision are revealed. The article examines their implementation in the poetics of Chapter 18 of the poem “Good” and the poem “Conversation with Comrade Lenin”. In the texts with the poetics of the vision preceding the poem “Good”, the initiator of the dialogue with the departed (with Pushkin in “Jubilee”, with Theodore Nette) was the clearly recognizable poet Mayakovsky. In the second half of Chapter 18 of the poem “Good” (1927), for the first time, the initiative passed to the comrades buried near the Kremlin wall, and the poet had nothing to say in an answer to their questions about the state of the country. In “Conversation with Comrade Lenin” (1929), both the dialogue with the leader who had died five years ago, and the report to him about the country’s victories failed. Had “to report not by service, but by liking” about “the work of hell” (here is referring to Dante’s “Comedy”), about the many who interfere with working and living, about the bastards who “tread the ground and around”. After this poem the poet did not have to live long. Conclusion. As a summing up of the 20 years of poetic work, was written the poem “At the Top of My Voice” in which the voice of the poet in the traditions of the vision sounded already from the distance of times ... And this is the last text in the lyrics of Mayakovsky of the 1920s with visual expressiveness in the logic of the through plot of Mayakovsky of the 1920s. 5275 | The article presents the results of I. A. Kuratov’s lyrics analysis through the prism of its subject structure. The analysis found that the lyric poet is multy subject system containing various subjective forms of the author’s consciousness expressions: the actual author, lyrical hero, the author-narrator, the hero «role» of the lyrics. Development by the poet of different forms of expression of author’s consciousness is connected with extension of the thematic contents of poetry. An analysis of poetic material made it possible to reveal the unconditional connection between the choice of the forms of expression of the author’s consciousness and the semantic aspect of Kuratov’s works. However polysubjectivity is characteristic of certain verses by Kuratov, which creates a poetic polyphony, and expand the functions of direct speech. Studying poetic works of Komi poet through the prism of their subjective system makes it possible to reveal not only the immanent features of Kuratov’s lyricism, but also to present the place and role of I. 5276 | The article explicates components expressed in reproach genre which are marked by gender and have great cognitive value. There were identified core types of determination, value scale, value criteria, main perception channel, cognitive and pragmatic functions, types of emotional correlation and ways of speech intensification. Serial “Deffchonki” was taken as the material for the analysis; special attention was paid to the first part, because it has to involve the spectators into the activity continuum in order to keep their attention and interest up to the end of this serial. The core investigation method is cognitive and semantic analysis. The most valuable for the female components of the world view were discovered. Emotional correlation and attitude were analyzed as well. Pragmatic and value aims were taken into consideration. It was revealed that reproach genre explicates female ideals and attitudes. Both value poles were highlighted. A great number of creative approaches were fixed in female attempts to change psychoemotional atmosphere and interlocutor behaviour. The analysis showed the dominance of visual perception channel. The main function was determined as emotional influence in order to change the interlocutor behaviour. Emotional background is conviction. It was revealed that female position is marked by emotional, affective and dimensional determination. 10 % of content has value-oriented and precedential type of determination. 5277 | The subject of the research is the evacuation of children’s institutions to West Siberian rear area, their receiving and housing, the industry organization and social problems and consequences caused by them. The purpose of the research is to study the problem by identifying the state of work, the mechanisms for implementing the main activities, their scope and results. The research was carried out in accordance with the basic principles of historical science. It shows that the evacuation of children’s institutions, their reception and housing were the focus of the authorities’ attention. The issues were handled personally, taking into account the evolving situation. The paper emphasizes the complexity of the work, its strengths and weaknesses, traces the ways of solving the arising problems. The paper highlights that the preparation for the receiving and housing of the arriving children’s institution was carried out in accordance with the basic legal documents on servicing the child population in their itinerary and at the new places, developed by the State Sanitary Inspectorate of the Russian Soviet Federated Socialistic Republic. The numerous archival documents show that a large work on the receiving and housing of the evacuated children was carried out in West Siberia. From the document we can see that in the extreme conditions of the severe war the country carried on the state policy of children protection and care, preservation of the gene pool. The considerable experience was accumulated in solving the issues under consideration, much of which can be used in our days. The analysis of the expert opinion on the developed practice literary study of local lore in different cities of Siberia and Ural has allowed us to select a number of pressing questions. These questions include: the criteria of regional (birthplace, temporary/constant residing place of the author, specific cultural code in the text specifying one or another region e.g. toponyms), quality evaluation of the artistic level and pedagogical potential of the works of the authors, the problem of the search and the assignment one or another region to the authors). A separate research problem is in the lack of printing editions of the texts of modern regional authors published on the Internet or on the contrary, in the lack of text-through versions of books on the Internet that complicates the research and educational literary regional study work. The consideration of the addressee (children) raises additional questions concerning not only regional but also the children’s literature as a whole (differentiation of the childhood and adolescence, a distinction of the children’s literature and the literature belonging to the children’s reading list). And it directly concerns techniques of studying of the Siberian and Ural literature (the criteria of selection of texts for studying at school, the choice of books for certain age, the development of methodological support and the assignments corresponding to the certain level of literary education of school children etc.). Conclusion. 5287 | The research of means verbalizing the modal semantics, and in particular of modal verbs remains urgent in modern linguistics as they express modal values of the possibility and need which are ones of the most important in the cognitive and communicative relation. In its turn, cognitive and communicative needs of society remain variable and that causes semantic function extension of the language means, which are constantly to respond to the needs of society noted above. In this regard the semantics studying of the verb müssen is especially significant. The purpose of the research presented in this article is to reveal specifics and to define the mechanisms of the past and current semantic changes of the verb müssen that have ensured its development as a modal verb according to cognitive and communicative needs of the German society. To that effect the original Old, Middle, Early New and New High German texts were studied. In the selected examples from the given texts by means of the method of semantic interpretation and using the method of contextual analysis the meanings of preterite-present verb müssen functioning as modal verb in the correspondent periods of the development of German language were determined. Due to the consistent usage of the method of comparison and collation in the process of analysis of the meanings their similarities and differences were determined. For more detailed reflection on the transformation development tendency in the semantics of the verb müssen appearing in modal function the methods of mathematical statistics were also used. As a result of the conducted research semantic peculiarities of the verb müssen functioning in various periods of German were specified and the mechanism of the past and current changes is defined. The basic semantic transformation mechanism of the verb müssen into both modal objective and, from Early New High German, into modal subjective semantic is context-induced reinterpretation. 5288 | The article is of great importance due to the increasing interest of modern linguistics to issues of conceptualizing time in general and in fact in the perception of representatives of different cultures. The research is conducted on the basis of the Ket language that is crucial due to the raising interest of linguists to the endangered languages. The Ket language is a unique archaic language without literacy, and the only one representing language of the Yenisey linguistic family. The goal of the research is to elicit basic cognitive metaphors of time in the Ket linguage. The research reveals crucial methods to form temporal concepts, universal biologically supported determinated features of temporal representation in the perception of a person. The research also studies occurrence of universal characteristics on the language level on the basis of the Ket language. The research studies the nouns naming time periods and components of its syntagmatic environment. On the basis of comparison of initial and resulting metaphoric meanings of lexical units, the main metaphoric models to percept time in the Ket language have been specified: dynamic language model and static language model. Dynamic language model reveals time as a space that a human passes through. In the work a model of time movement is considered as the basis for language perception because means of its expressions are frequent and regular. Statistic model is considered as less relevant because used only in literal metaphors. The main spatial time image is a straight line indicating back and forth direction. 5289 | Verbs of movement in the Selkup dialects denote different ways of movement, its nature, general orientation of the movement against the speaker, environment in which this movement occurs, and a number of additional components. Most Selkup verbs of movement are monosemantic, about 60% of meanings does not repeat, i. e. they are peculiar to one verb of movement. In the analyzed group of verbs of movement the synonymic relations are poorly developed in comparison with Russian in spite of the fact that among the Selkup verbs of movement the synonymy is more developed than in other lexico-semantic groups of the studied language. Selkup verbs of movement are divided into two groups: verbs of undirected movement and verbs of directed movement. Lexico-semantic group of verbs of undirected movement has the core which is formed by the most frequent polysemantic verbs kwangu, čāǯįgu and qənqo, and also periphery which is formed by the verbs of undirected movement including such lexico-semantic components as ‘environment in which the movement occurs’, ‘way of the movement’, ‘speed of the movement’, «figurative characteristic of the movement» in their meanings. The orientation sign of verbs of directed movement receives a specification. It is lexically expressed in specification of the direction by serial postpositions; grammatically it is specified by the formants coinciding with suffixes of the inflectional system. The group of verbs of directed movement includes verbs of absolute direction and verbs of relative direction. Verbs of absolute direction include verbs of vector movement in vertical direction and verbs of vector movement in horizontal direction. The Selkup verbs of movement are characterized by denoting the general movement direction (approach or removal) and orientation in space. 5291 | The article is devoted to the development of the concept of lexical regulative universal (LRU), which is in line with the communicative stylistics of the text, namely the theory of regulativity, taking into account the fundamental principles of cognitive linguistics – actively developing scientific direction. Under «universals» are understood not only universal laws and principles of structuring the text, but also «universal thinking». Lexical regulatory universal is considered in comparison with other notions of communicative stylistics: communicative universals, media communicative universals, cognitive style. Under the lexical regulatory universal is understood a verbal embodiment of the way of the author’s thinking and the way of his interactions with the addressee, in characteristic for the author means and methods of lexical regulativity. One of the key features of LRU is the choice of the author of the means and methods of regulativity from the point of view of manifestation of cognitive mechanisms that are universal for a specific poetic language personality, «standing» behind the text. Regulatory lexical universals reflect ways of knowing and interaction of the author with the surrounding world. Regulatory lexical universals can partly be changed / maintained over the entire work of the author, that allows to speak not only about the dynamics of his conceptual and poetic pictures of the world, but also about the development of his thinking. The students’ attitude questionnaire results towards feedback prove that students value the teacher’s feedback and feel some uncertainty about receiving feedback from their peers. We combine two different approaches to the description of dark energy: modified gravity theory and introduction of the additional fields. 5298 | The article deals with the linguodidactic potential of jargon, realized in the classes on teaching Russian as a foreign language in the Chinese audience. The main attention is paid to different uses of jargon for the implementation of the linguistic goal of teaching a foreigner to the colloquial Russian language, through which interpersonal communication is carried out in the conditions of everyday interaction. The relevance of the article is due to the growing importance of multicultural communication and the strengthening of Russian-Chinese contacts, including linguistic ones. The scientific novelty of the issue under consideration is the possibility of examining the extraliterary linguistic facts (in this study – jargon) from the point of view of linguodidactic and linguistic cultural units used in classes in Russian as a foreign language in the Chinese audience. As an empirical material for our research, texts written in various Internet genres were used: blogs, correspondence in chats and forums, posts in social networks. As a material for the study, we considered the texts of the decoding of the audio recordings of the speech of the characters in the television series and the heroes of the TV show. All these varieties of oral and written texts can serve as a linguistic guideline for mastering the Russian language as a foreign language. In them, in huge numbers, there are extra-literary units, including jargon. Note that the stated texts are oriented, in majority, to the youth part of the viewers and Internet users. 5299 | Introduction. In this article on the example of football discourse texts, we look at the role of contextual synonymy in processes of conceptualization and language actualization. We analyze plurality of nominations at the intersection of theory of nomination, cognitive linguistics, discourse analysis, semantics and lexicology. The purpose of the study is to identify the role of contextual synonyms (CC) in the actualization and conceptualization of football concepts, with the COP being the main source of diversity in football nominations. Material and methods. Context in its broad meaning as a situation of communication, as well as in its narrow understanding as immediate surroundings of a word, largely determines the choice of lexical units and their semantics. Therefore, it makes it impossible to study plurality of nominations outside of context without overlooking or misrepresenting some significant information. That is why in this article we use the method of contextual-semantic analysis of nominations. Results and discussion. Language nominations show the way the author of an utterance conceptualizes a certain notion. These lexical variants in their turn, being «voiced» to the recipient, cause certain changes in the structure of recipient’s concepts, enriching them with new ideas, associations and connotations. Contextual synonyms serve as the main source of plurality of nominations, hence play an important part in language actualization of concepts and conceptualization itself. Applying contextual-semantic analysis to football nominations we discovered the following contextual synonyms of popular football concepts: to score (a goal) – to head (in/home), to fire, to net, to complete, to turn (home), to force, to slot, to slam, to smash, to shoot, to finish); a goal – home, the bottom corner, the net, the side netting, target; a goal (as a score/point) – an opener, the equalizer, the winner, a brace, a second, a finish, a stunner, a triumph, a free-kick, an effort; football/ball – danger, diamond, fruit. The variety of lexical actualizations is an indication of semantic richness of conceptualized units, and their importance to communicants. Culture and language specific features of football concepts represent the prospects of further research.
