2960 | This article is devoted to the analysis of functions of metaphors in the structure of a narrative. Modern understanding of such concepts as discourse metaphor and metaphorical subtexts are being described. A hypotheses that the metaphorical fields play the integrating role being the bridge between referent and communical sides of the narrative is being suggested. The analysis of the ways of metaphorical indexation of a narrative strategy is based on B. Pasternak's novel Doctor Zhivago. Narrative strategy is regarded as a kind of interaction between the subject, object and adressee of discourse. B. Pasternak's novel implements the strategy of 'revelation' bearing such important characteristics as narrator being an impersonal one, the story being a 'quest for the sence', convergent position of a reader being programmed. This communication model is expressed not only at the levels of plot events and themes, but also by using specific metaphorical fields. This article deals with the particular subtext of 'cover and revelation' which is represented in the text of the novel by images of fabric, threads, sewing, knitting that can be found in descriptions of many different plot events and characters. Conclusion is drawn that the narration in the novel is a 'cover' for poetry and, contrawise, Zhivago's poems depend of the narrative events. 2961 | The epistolary forms which entered a context of “The Moscow magazine” and “The Bulletin of Europe” are considered as an embodiment of the concept of N. M. Karamzin – the publisher, as a reprezentant of his creative method. N. M. Karamzin actively develops poetics of the private, friendly letter in the journalistic and publishing practice, thus the poetics of epistolary publications in Karamzin magazines is conformable to poetics of his private letters. In magazines, also as well as in private letters, estimates and judgments of the publisher, his image itself organize reader’s perception, play a sample role, immerse in the Karamzin sphere of spiritual and intellectual aspirations. The letter as a plot forming element of Karamzin magazines allowed their publisher to come into direct contact with the reader, and “someone else’s” letters became remarks in the dialogue organized by the publisher, a reason for publishing reflections. The letter becomes an ideal form of creation of the addressee – the reader of the magazine as in it the behavioural standard is formed. Certain dynamics of epistolary poetics from “The Moscow magazine” to “the Bulletin of Europe” is noted. 2962 | The research concerns the problems of applying textbooks with online components in the organization of selfguided work of students learning foreign languages at non-linguistic universities under modern conditions. We believe that the competences described in the Federal State Standard of Higher Education can not be fully developed in students lacking the necessary knowledge of a foreign language after finishing their secondary education. One more relevant problem arises here, the one of the equalization of the initial level of students’ language skills. The institutions of higher education used to solve this problem by running a correction course, but due to the reduction in the amount of contact hours, we believe it is advisable to organize such work outside the classroom. Such changes will require a careful choice of textbooks. Therefore, we suggest applying a model of work with English textbooks having online components in the organization of students’ self-guided work. We analyze the results of the experiment aimed at the approbation of the technique in question and illustrate them by the statistical data obtained by testing the experimental and control groups. We prove that most language skills improve considerably due to the use of computer learning. Moreover, this pedagogical technique contributes to growing motivation and results in developing necessary competences prescribed by the State standard. 2976 | Introduction. In the 21st century, all the languages of the world undergo radical changes in its lexical composition. Due to the need to nominate new concepts, phenomena and objects in the process of cognition and development of a constantly changing world, the lexical fund of languages is enriched by the emergence of new vocabulary, among which there are a lot of slang words. Youth jargon is an interesting language phenomenon both in Russian and in Chinese, which is developing almost simultaneously in two completely different language systems and linguistic cultures. Material and methods. The author analyzes the ways of replenishing the lexical fund of Russian and Chinese youth slang in a comparative aspect, taking into account the factor of cognitive mechanisms dependence of meaning generation within the framework of the slang fragment of the national world picture. The study is carried out on the basis of the material of the author’s dictionary files, as well as data from lexicographic sources based on the methodology of contextual, contrastive-comparative analysis, as well as word-formation modeling. Results and discussion. The most productive ways of enriching the corpus of youth vocabulary in both languages are revealed. This is metaphorization, affixation, foreign borrowing. At the same time, unlike Russian youth jargon, in the Chinese language, such methods as abbreviation and homophony reveal a greater specific gravity and linguocultural specifics in the formation of new slang units. The Chinese youth sociolect also reveals specifics when adapting foreign borrowings. These differences are due to the typological features of the Chinese language and the originality of the linguistic picture of the world of modern Chinese youth. Conclusion. The results obtained in the course of the study allow us to talk about the combined action within the framework of the slang subsystems of the Russian and Chinese languages as universal trends in the field of word production, and ways specific to each language to implement these trends. Ways to replenish youth jargon in a particular linguistic culture are determined by the conceptual content of its corresponding fragment. The need for the search of the new strategies of the foreign language teaching in non-linguistic universities defines the researchers’ attention to the use of the Internet-memes as an effective means stimulating the students` interest to language learning. The aim of the article is to present theoretical and practical justification of the possibilities of Internet-memes use for development of non-linguistic university students` motivation to learning the foreign language. Material and methods. The research is based on the analysis of literature on creolized texts use in teaching, organizing the students’ language work with memes, defining the constituents of non-linguistic university students` motivation to English learning. In the result the set of classes facilitating the development of the students` motivation to language learning was designed and the methodical experiment aimed at implementation of the solutions under the consideration was carried out. Internet-memes selected in accordance with teaching content on the discipline are used as the material. Results and discussion. The algorithm of organizing students’ work with memes that includes motivational and perceptional, reproductive and practical, creative and transformational stages is outlined; versatile methodical apparatus of the process implementation is presented. The author notes the aspects of organization of the students’ work with memes as well as its motivational opportunities. The set of English classes oriented on using memes in the developing students’ motivation to language learning is presented. The examples of the exercises organizing the students’ work with a certain meme are given. The article presents criterial and diagnostic apparatus to evaluate students’ motivational level to English learning and the results proving the suggested solutions efficiency. Conclusion. The memes’ variety, free access, relevance to modern tendencies make them a powerful tool motivating students to deep language learning. 2996 | The phraseological meaning is a specific semantic category, characterized by an integral transference of meaning based fully or partially on the meanings of the components of the unit. This results in its complex structure which is of special scientific interest. The article focuses on the components of the phraseological meaning, states their specific features and correlation and offers the methodology of semantic analysis. It is a multistep process that considers all the constituents of the phraseological meaning: motivation, imagery component, inner form, denotative component, connotation and cultural component (studied by A. V. Kunin, V. N. Teliya, N. F. Alefirenko and others). The inner form reveals the way the phraseological meaning is formed and creates phraseological imagery. Motivation is a means of expressing the inner form. Metaphorical, metonymical or metaphtonymical transference of meaning forms the inner form of the unit. Phraseological semantics includes the grammatical meaning and the phraseological meaning proper. We single out several structural models of the latter, based on a number of combinations of the denotative macrocomponent (its identifying and characterizing parts) and stylistic, intensive, emotional and/or evaluative components of connotation. The cultural component can be a part of either denotation or connotation or both. The results can be applied in studying semantic peculiarities of different groups of phraseological units, with reference to their national specificity. 2997 | The article presents activities of the Tatars in the development of the education of the people of Turkestan. First of all it was expressed in creation of schools for Tatars, including the Jadid’s madrassas, attended by representatives of other peoples. Training was on the books of the Tatar authors – S. Maksudi, R. Fakhrutdinov, H.Zabirov. National schools for the local people were organized under the leadership of the Tatar enlighteners. They participated in preparation of textbooks in the languages of the local people and teaching staff for national schools. The Tatars spreaded Muslim customs and traditions, brought Muslim culture in the steppe. Jadid’s schools opened by tatars have sustained the competition from Russian-native schools because local population trust them more which was connected by a religion community, similarity of language and traditions of Tatars and people of Turkestan. These schools financially were also supported by Tatars. Methodical providing, especially in the first decades of their existence, was carried out by the Kazan teachers. Most capable shakirds (students) of Jadid’s madrassas prepared to enter major madrasas of the Volga-Ural region. Tatar women played a big role in training of women of Turkestan. Under their influence and leadership by the representatives of the local population were opened schools. However, despite the support for the first time, the government feared the influence of the Turkic peoples on each other. Since 1910, rules have been adopted that prohibit the teaching of Tatars in Turkestan. Closing of Tatar schools did not become an obstacle to the spread of jadidism. 2998 | The article attempts to identify some problems affecting the results of the state attestation. Central to them, by right, is the final composition, since it, on the one hand, is aimed at testing general speech competencies, on the other hand, on the specific knowledge and skills of the graduate. The theme of the task is considered to be the reason for additional emotional experiences of the students. For the first time, according to the personal approach, handwriting is regarded as one of the conditions for the successful graduation of the graduates. The paper discusses the difficulties of transition from one type of state attestation to another and formulates some methodological aspects that contribute to their resolution. Particular attention is paid to the general emotional background, constantly created around the complexity of the final structural part of the control and measuring materials. The conducted experiment allows us to analyze the causes of errors made by students in the assignment fulfillment, to highlight their psychological and pedagogical aspects. Not only negative results are considered, but positive dynamics in training are also traced. The influence of the period of preparation for the Unified State Exam on the progress and success of students is traced. In conclusion we are talking about the need for different approaches to prepare students for the state attestation. 2999 | In the study of polysemantic words in syntagmatic aspect it is necessary to speak specially about the specifics of its functioning in fiction. In the context of everyday speech the word tends to semantic identity, but in the literary text polysemantic word is not only able to maintain its ambiguity, but also seeks to realize this property. Such feature of functioning of polysemantic lexicon in the literary text is caused by two defining characteristics of the literary text – they are “the intention for maximum information saturation” (Yu. M. Lotman) and imaginative (figurative) speech concretization. The increased load of meaning and imagery are direct factors of aesthetic value of the text. The purpose of the work is to analyze the semantic and stylistic features of the functioning of the polysemantic word in the poetry of A. A. Voznesensky. High metaphoricalness, expressivity, unexpected semantic effects characterize his creative manner. Therefore, the main methods of research are semantic and stylistic analysis, contextual analysis and aesthetic interpretation. A large number of examples prove that semantic increment and visibility of the image in Voznesensky’s poems are achieved both by contrasting the meanings of a polysemous word and by combining them. The author skillfully uses the resource of the lexical polysemy to enhance lyricism or drama of the text, to express avant-garde aesthetics, philosophy of mutual assimilation and interrelation of all things. Among the methods of aesthetic refraction of polysemy of the word actualized by the author are semantic layers and shifts, accentuation of the literal meaning of the word, putting on the first plan of some semantic components of the word and the neutralization of others, the creation of the occasional meaning of the word as a result of the individual author’s associative transfer of meaning, «flicker» of meanings, the unexpected activation of the implicit meaning of the word. The examples illustrate the methods of erased metaphors and metonymy revival. There are traditions of Mayakovsky and Pasternak in some features of metaphorical transfer. The results of the study may be interesting to clarify the features of the individual style of A. A. Voznesensky, stylistic and rhetorical functions of polysemy, semantic potential of the word. 3000 | In this article the problem of the professional selfdetermination of the personality of a practical psychologist in the process of education is raised, its solution, in the authors' opinion, is a basis for the formation of acertain model of a specialist. The description of modern approaches to the investigation of a personality s professional self-determination problem is presented here. The authors come to the conclusion that transferring this traditional problem into the sphere of professional education of a practical psychologist reveals the new determinations in the well-known scheme «person - profession*. It exceed the bounds of the philosophical problem of personal choice. The process of professional education for a practical psychologist becomes the process of his professional formation and his personality formation in general.
