The article deals with informational waves as a new notion of up-to-date informational and media paradigm. We picked out some types of informational waves, such as strong and weak in accordance with degree and force of influence on society; long and short according to duration of social interest to informational occasion, which stimulates informational waves. In accordance with form and character of informational waves’ spreading (peculiarities of their components’ realization in global communicative sphere) we distinguish such types of informational waves as cumulative resonance; cascade; funnel; prism. The article deals with effectiveness of using non-traditional means within the third hour of physical education in schools, actualizes the need of searching and using new means previously not used, especially the means of parkour with the aim of correction of motivation of schoolchildren to physical education, especially in teenage period. In this period, there are significant changes in the emotional and volitional sphere of schoolchildren. Parkour allows them to be bold and at the same time to express themselves. A well-organized learning process allows to implement these internal requirements while minimizing possible risks. The authors described experimental method of application of means of parkour, and the results of its implementation in the educational process. Presented and described changes in motivation indices, indicators of physical fitness, as well as changes in the motivational structure of the schoolchildren who participated in the experiment. Based on the results of the study were made the conclusions about the advisability of continuing the use of means of parkour at the lessons of physical education. Since the theme of the use of parkour means during the lessons of physical training has not been studied yet in the Russian Federation, the findings are of theoretical and practical significance for its further development and use.

The author is examining the literary material starting from the poem «Panmongolism» byV. Solovjevuptothe novel «Chapaev and the Emptiness» by V. Pelevin. In the eschatological variant of the myth the author discov¬ers the motives of the invasion of the Mongolian multi¬tudes into Russia as a part of Europe and their participa¬tion in the apocalyptical Christian plot. In another variant of the myth which is closer to the literature plot the hero is either escaping, or traveling, or is made to go to Mon¬golia, and Mongolia turns out to be either the domain of death, or the hero perishes or changes his status being subjected to the initiation. The Mongolian myth is widen¬ing to the Pan Mongolian one and in this way is being built into the Asian myth of Russia.

The article considers ornithomorphical symbols of aquatic birds in traditional culture of the Khanty. It is shown that in the national tradition birds are endowed with definite signs in accordance with their real idea, however, such perception is refracted through the prism of the mythological consciousness. They thought that aquatic birds that capable of being both in air and on earth, and under the water can own three worlds: upper, middle and lower. It’s revealed that content of goose’s and duck’s images are the most archaic, they kept a deep imprint in Folklore, many folk epithets are formed on their foundation. Symbols of the majority of investigated birds reflect modern religion imagines. Birds are considered to be the hypostasis of the actual spiritual protectors.

The artice discusses the role of lifelong learning for professional activity as a vital instrument providing both, current and perspective needs of labour market. Lifelong learning fulfills three main functions – professional, social and personal. One of the ways to deliver such kind of education is involving professional development programs, which can be delivered through in-service training in various formats (distant, face-to-face, autonomous learning). These programs can be arranged within various timescales with regard to government regulations and employer requirements. In addition, the staff participating in design, elaboration and implementation of these programs should meet the latest professional requirements in their area. It is suggested that professional competence among academics as people functioning like conductors between industrial sector and adult learners is of vital importance. For that reason, special attention is drawn to the programs for academics and doctoral training. As an illustrative example, the experience of participating in a PhD program at the University of Sheffield (UK) is described. This program is characterized as highly individualized, which leads to sufficient outcomes among learners. Along with that, the authors propose to borrow key aspects from Sheffield experience and adapt them for doctoral training in Russia. Finally, urgent problems in academics development are outlined, further steps and solutions are offered.

The article touches upon the problem of verbal representation of “civilization/barbarism” dichotomy in political discourse. The research aims at exploring conceptual metaphors and metonymies verbalizing the concepts which model the development of civilizations of Great Britain and the USA during the period of the First and the Second world wars. The research is based on P. Buchanan’s “Churchill, Hitler, and the Unnecessary War”. The methods employed include component, definition and conceptual types of analysis, metaphor modelling and critical discourse analysis. Complex analysis consisting of metaphor modelling, conceptual, definition and component types of analysis presents the following results: metaphor models (Civilization as Personality, Civilization as Expansivity, Civilization as Self-control, Barbarism as Degradation) verbalize the concepts of “civilization” and “barbarism” in a certain cultural-historic context. The identification of concomitant metaphors and metonymies (Great Britain as Cow, Great Britain as Great Lady, Great Britain as Debtor, Great Britain as Slattern the USA as Sheriff, Dresden etc.) verifies the data obtained. Moreover, the investigation explores the role of metonymy Great Britain is the USA as motivator for dynamic processes in discourse. The method of critical discourse analysis which considers discourse as a phenomenon constituting social practice establishes connections between discursive practice and historic events.

This provides a possibility of purposeful formation of harmonically developed personality oriented to conducting of professional activity at factories and organizations of the Nuclear Department of the Russian Federation. Orlova Nadezhda Kh.. RUSSIAN LITERATURE IN THE ITALIAN CINEMATOGRAPHY: REVIEW // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2015. Issue 5 (158). P. 164-170

The article examines an experience of classical Russian literature interpretations in Italian cinema. The analysis is carried out in several directions. The chronological vector suggests an interest in Russian literature from a historical perspective, beginning with the 40s of the XX century. In these years, Italian cinema became a cultural phenomenon subject to censorship – using Russian literature in films was a way whereby productions could avoid censorship. We can assume that film adaptations of Russian literature had a significant impact upon Italian cinema of the time. Writers such as Dostoevsky, Pushkin, Tolstoy, Chekhov, Gogol, Bulgakov became very popular after WWII. The Paper aims at providing an overview of Italian cinema based on Russian literature, whereas the question of «success» or «failure» of film adaptations under consideration shall be left open.

The article is focused on precedent phenomena as sign and verbally presented units that carry information about national features and create national culture code which can be understood only with the deep knowledge of traditional British culture. The article is based on the precedent phenomena in the headlines of news, editorials and analytical articles published in such quality press newspapers as The Telegraph and The Guardian. The main source-spheres of the precedent phenomena are singled out in the article because they serve as a nationally marked coordinate system which is reflected in the language of mass media discourse. The article concludes that the main source-spheres of precedent phenomena in the headlines are political, social and cultural spheres that give information about history and contemporary life of British nation.

The relevance of the topic choice is due to the unflagging interest in the discourse studies in modern linguistics as well as the role of British medicine in the world and the British health system. One of the leading countries in the field of medicine is Britain, whose health system is remarkable for its flexibility and equal treatment of all patients regardless of their nationality and social class. The research object of this article is the English medical discourse, the subject of the study is its genre differentiation. In modern native and foreign linguistics there are a various approaches to understanding of the term “discourse”. The English medical discourse belongs to the institutional discourses. The list of institutional discourses is quite extensive: political, diplomatic, administrative, legal, military, pedagogical, religious, mystical, medical, business, advertising, the discourse of Fashion, post, pharmaceutical, cosmetic, perfumery, gastronomic and others. The article considers the English medical discourse which represents the interaction of medical discourse proper, scientific and advertising medical, media discourse, legislative (legal), commercial, and academic discourses in the sphere of medicine. The leading role here belongs to the medical discourse proper. The medical discourse is characterized by the polyphonic inclusion of historical, encyclopedic, social and pharmaceutical discourses. The complex nature of the English medical discourse has generated a variety of genre forms.
