Koshkarova Natalya Nikolaevna FAKE NEWS: CREATIVE DECISION OR FRAUD? // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2018. Issue 2 (191). P. 14-18

The paper is devoted to the description of one of the phenomena of the modern media space, namely fake news. To denote the thing under study a lot of terms are used in different scientific paradigms: fake news, false news, mediamystification, information attack, media-fake. The term “fake news” is considered by the author to be the most appropriate one as it coincides with the genre aspect of the phenomenon under study, it reflects the dominant role of the fake news usage as the leading instrument of information and psychological warfare. The author gives the characteristics of the structural, linguistic, pragmatic and discursive peculiarities of the fake news. It is pointed out that to some extent fake news may be identical to newspaper hoax but the latter is mainly used in the framework of the paper-based mass-media whereas the Internet makes it necessary to create new terms for denoting newly emerged phenomena. The terms “fake news” and “newspaper hoax” also differ in the scale of their consequences: the latter might be quite harmless while the former might provoke cyberterrorism. The author gives some pieces of advice how to distinguish fake news from real messages in the modern mass-media discourse. The set of these rules might be helpful not only for ordinary readers but also for the journalists, i.e. for those who generate news.

In the article the contents of state soveregnty are examined through main attributes of state, its main characteristics are enumerated. The consideration is given to examination of the definition and essence of «federalism». On the basis of it there is the detection of the specifics of sovereignty in the federal state, its attributes and status, in particular, the nature of its (sovereignty) formation by division of sovereignties of early independent state formations, or another legal nature of origin. The conceptions of «sovereignty» and «federalism» are brought into correlation. The matter of impossibility of state sovereignty division is solved. There is a reasoning of possibility of coexistence, interconnection and interdependence of two split-level sovereignties. Moreover, in the article different theories of state sovereignty receive an assessment, the arguments for and against are given, the viability of these theories is proved.

The article presents the results of an analytical review of the literature from the perspective of system-historical approach to the development trends of scientific concepts of defensive coping behavior. Defensive coping behavior is shown as the polysyllabic-level system formed by structural elements formed by the structural elements connected among themselves. In a chronological order emergence of scientific publications of domestic and foreign researchers (articles, monographs, theses, etc.) dedicated to the consideration of the psychological phenomena designating psychological defence of the personality, psychological overcoming of a stress, сoping with it, ability of the individual to resolve a problem or to seize an impossible situation. Among such works the authors of article consider the researches representing mechanisms of coping-strategy, defining styles of coping-behavior, their connection with сoping-resources and other psychological characteristics, influencing adaptation processes. The carried-out review of the directions and works on studying protective defensive coping behavior allowed to receive idea of those problems, which stimulate similar researches and find their solution in them.

The paper deals with the history of Palestine over the period of the British mandate from 1922 till 1948, analysis of the relationship between Palestinian Arabs and Zionists, description of the socio-political and economic situation in the country, revelation of the role of the mandate-holder (Britain), contributed to a great extent to the partition of Palestine and the formation of Israel as a separate state. The object of research is Palestine during the creation of the post-colonial system of international relations after the First World War; the subject is the political and economic situation in Palestine in the period of the British mandate. The theoretical significance of the research is that it reveals the origins of the continuing Arab-Jewish conflict which has a destabilizing effect on the situation in the region and touches the geopolitical interests of leading political players. The analysis of the political and economic situation allows to identify the following causes contributing to the still ongoing Arab-Israeli conflict: (1) the dual character of the policies of the mandate-holder who is not interested in the creation of an independent Arab state in Palestine; (2) the growing economic dependence and impoverishment of Palestinian Arabs against the background of unlimited buying up the agricultural lands by the Zionist funds; (3) political disorganization and disunity of the Arab population, the absence of formed political forces able to defend the interests of the Arab people of Palestine; (4) the increasing influence of Zionists and of their organizations in Palestine; (5) a growing number of Jewish immigrants and the intensive erection of Jewish settlements in the territories belonging to the Palestinian Arabs.

The development of the world technological progress, the population increase, irrational use of the Earth’s natural resources have led to the emergence of serious problems in the sphere of ecology, therefore in particular, the preservation of natural environment of the society has became one of the most important issues for mankind. The emergence of the ecological discourse is referred to the number of symbolic culture phenomena and it is closely related to the formation of ecological consciousness. The communicative space of the ecological discourse is the interaction of legislative (legal) discourse, scientific, political, advertising ecological discourse, academic (teaching) ecological discourse, ecological media discourse. The ecological discourse is characterized by the polyphonic characteristic inclusions of social, pharmaceutical, chemical, technical, agricultural (agrarian), medical, veterinary, religious discourses. This discourse belongs to a mixed type of discourse, that have the features of institutional and personal discourses. The ecological discourse is a complex discursive, multi-dimensional, diverse construction, that can be attributed to the hybrid, polycode discourses. The French national ecological discourse is a part of the global environmental discourse. The characteristic features of the ecological discourse are professionality, termhood, scientificity, accuracy, clarity, cliché character, communication skills, creativity, sense of duty, argumentativeness, alertness, an emotional component, associativity, polyappealability. The complex discursive nature of the ecological discourse has generated a variety of genre forms.

Actual issues of the education statistics using for international comparative analysis are considered in this article. This is especially significant for Russia today, as the country have launched a wide-scale modernization of the education system. Thus the possibility «to check the course» against the world trends is especially topical. The main international comparative programmes descriptions and data sources for different national educational systems are given in this publication. It also presents the main necessary conditions that will lead to improvement of the international education data application and the quality of international comparisons. The problem of deviation as a deviation from the social norm has been significantly studied in psychiatry and sociology. In the case when this kind of behavior is manifested in speech (it is explicated mainly by means of speech units), it can also be designated as deviant. The analysis of factors of discursive conditionality and forms of manifestation of the speech behavior of users of Internet correspondence deviating from social norms is relevant both in terms of compliance with the problems of a number of areas of modern linguistics (in particular, linguoperersonology), аnd from the point of view of the development of practical recommendations concerning interaction with «difficult» people in the space of network interaction. In the list of discourse-forming factors that determine the appearance in Internet communication of different forms of representation of deviant speech behavior (spam, trolling, elfing, cyberbullying, etc.), such features of network interaction are distinguished, аs anonymity, mediation, distance, freedom of self-expression, the difficulty of personal identification of a user and verification of his potential unlawful actions. Real communication prescribes to the individual appropriate behavior, which must be built within existing social norms. Communication in the network turns compliance with norms into a convention, the user is freed from demonstrating socially desirable behavior. Texts received via e-mail and correspondence of users of the social network «Facebook» are used as a research material. The relevance of electronic epistolary texts and their relevance in the field of modern communication is due, on the one hand, to their genre properties (polythematism, clichedness, reproducibility of form, style syncretism, full and polydiscursivnostyu), оn the other, an existing sociohistorical «order». In the case of demonstration by the user of deviant speech behavior, there is a violation of his moral and ethical norms of behavior in society, due to the presence of the sender installation for the implementation of a manipulative scenario, аs a result, electron-epistolary texts can be considered a form mediating manifestations of deviant speech behavior of users within the framework of network correspondence.
