The paper outlines the main patterns of negation in the endangered Eastern Khanty dialects of Western Siberia. Eastern Khanty negation is coded primarily by the negator of two types, indicative/declarative YntY and imperative дl. In terms of the position of negative marker, Eastern Khanty shows consistent preference of preposing. Concerning the morphosyntacic symmetry of negatives, Eastern Khanty appears predominantly symmetrical, showing no morphosyntactic variation between affi rmative constructions on one hand, and negative constructions on the other, while main variations in the marking negation concern imperatives and existentials.

The article examines specific lexical characteristics of television language of science popularization of historical knowledge within the discursive space of TV-program “Namedni” by Leonid Parfenov. In the spotlight there are lexical units belonging to different functional styles of speech: from official business terminology to slang words, which serve, on the one hand, for shocking the audience and emotional prezentation of the channel and the journalist, and, on the other hand, for attraction maximum audience attention. The author of the article focuses on dependence of the language of modern television programs from contemporary market economy, for example the term “raiting”. Every element of this lexical unit was examined in the way of its functions in the journalists’ text.

Rusanova Oksana Nikolaevna THE MOTIVE “LEARNER-TEACHER” IN THE PLAY BY E.L. SHVARTS“A STORY OF A YOUNG COUPLE” // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2014. Issue 11 (152). P. 78-82

The article is devoted to the one of the last plays by E. L. Shvarts “A Story of a Young Couple”). It is devoted to the problem of mutual understanding of loving people, their readiness to build relationship in a family and accept a compromise. The motive “learner-teacher” plays an essential role in the logic of the play. This motive is developing during the act of the play and is linking plotlines of different characters. This motive is shown on several levels: verbal, situational and on the level of the system of characters. The author of the article has tried to analyse the semantic spectrum of the motive. In the post-war time the loss of kin relations is filled up with family creation that is with clan creation. It distinguishes the work of E. L. Shvarts from the Soviet literature representing a family as the state. An important psychological, social and ontological role is played in this case by “teachers” who are keepers and propagators of life values. The followers are represented by people of young generation who have already created families or who are on the way toward it. The teachers are people of older generation (tutors, fellow workers, casual acquaintances and also come to life toys, the appearance of which attaches fabulousness to the play.

In conditions of modern civilization with its characteristic trends towards globalization and informatization the sufficient level of native, non-native and foreign languages is required for the implementation of the important tasks of life (educational, professional, etc.). It is obvious that the media should be ready for appropriate and effective use of the resources of natural language, taking into account its linguocultural specificity. The solution of this task is subject to language training – carried out in the education system set of measures aimed at the development and improvement of language competence as a component of communicative competence of students, representing the level of development of their cognitive abilities and cultural content of the thesaurus. Language training usually begins with studying the development of norms, rules, grammatical structure of the native language, the formation of the skill of expression by means of oral and written language code, the ability to work with the text. Along with the improvement of linguistic competence in the use of the native language, further language training can be focused on the development of one or more foreign languages. The latter need to explain the requirements of the time, including the expansion of the social, economic and cultural contacts between the two countries, the inclusion of carriers in the global Internet communications. The article deals with the modern teaching technologies used in the practice of language training in order to increase the efficiency of formation and improvement of linguistic competence of both the Russian native speakers, and the inofons. The article presents the systematization and generalization of experience of professional activity of specialists – teachers, trainers and teachers of secondary and higher education, engaged in the teaching of the Russian language as a native, non-native and foreign language, as well as foreign languages in the regional educational institutions. As the material for the analysis mainly served the articles of the specified number of persons, published in the journal “Pedagogical Review” in 2013–2016.

The article describes and analyses the Russian educational paradigms in the context of their historical shifts in relation to the objectives, content of education, representatives of major educational concepts and pedagogical technologies. Two historically developed in Russia educational paradigms are considered: traditional and humanistic. Analyzed traditional pedagogical concepts and pedagogical models of contemporary humanistic paradigm of Russian education: student-oriented, competence-based, subjective-personal, personal-oriented network and sense-activity. Presented the goals, objectives, content, benefits and drawbacks of the existing and further developed by the Russian scientists pedagogical concepts of the XX–XXI centuries. Traced and justified the historical transition from traditional to humanistic educational paradigm. The necessity of the consideration and integration of traditional methods and technologies of Russian education that have proven efficiency in the formation of conceptual-cognitive thinking necessary for student-centered development, education and training of the individual is shown. As a result of the the content-historical analysis, the article presents positive aspects and shortcomings of traditional knowledge-centered paradigm and outlines the main difficulties of the implementation of modern humanistic educational paradigm within the framework of existing educational models. The authors came to the conclusion about the necessity of harmonization of technologies, concepts, and assessment of results according to the tenets of the two main (traditional and humanistic) historical Russian educational paradigms.

Shutova Alena Vladimirovna CONCEPTUAL ANALYSIS OF A LITERARY TEXT AS A BASIS FOR SHAPING A STUDENT’S TEXTUAL COMPETENCE // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2017. Issue 11 (188). P. 41-45

The main idea of the article is a statement that mastering the basics of conceptual analysis by high-school students enables them to acquire textual competence. Nowadays, there is no standard definition of the term ‘concept’; there are several methods of conceptual analysis. A concept is something versatile. In various fields of studies, researchers draw special attention to one or another aspect of the concept. The article presents a review of some methods of carrying-out a conceptual analysis of a text and of a word generally accepted both in cognitive linguistics and cognitive poetics and in the Russian language teaching methods. The author proposes an improved version of conceptual analysis worked out in accordance with communicative stylistics of the text. This version is adapted to the practical issues of shaping text competences of students at school. This method is illustrated by the example of the concept ‘death’ verbalized in the poem of O. E. Mandelstam. Such kind of work should be given as part of an elective course taking into account that this kind of activity is not included in the curriculum. The course of work is controlled by the teacher because the students need a teacher to explain scientific terms to them, as well as to help them with step-by-step performance of the exercise. It is important to use diverse dictionaries (definition dictionaries, etymological dictionaries, dictionaries of synonyms, of antonyms and others). The goal at this stage is to find necessary dictionary entries and to analyze them to discover coincidences / distinctions in semantics and actual meaning of the key units that actualize the principal attributes of the concept and are reflected in the vocabulary and in the poem of the poet. Equally important is the final stage of the work which is to generalize and to formulate the author’s own opinion on the content of the concept. The article may be interesting for the students of pedagogical universities and the Russian language teachers.

Introduction. A brief bibliography, the main milestones of the creative path of Vasily Shkvarkin are given. The history of the plays and publications of the play “Alien Child” is recreated. Aim and objectives. The purposes of this paper is to review the reactions of Soviet criticism to the performances of the comedy «Alien Child» by V. Shkvarkin and to study the meaning that the play had for Soviet dramaturgy of its time. Materials and research methods. The research methodology is based on the historical-typological and hermeneutic approaches. Results and discussion. The study revealed the significance of the role played by the play “Alien Child” in the development of the Soviet comedy. It is shown that the reviews published in the newspaper “Pravda” to a large extent determined further critical discussion of the comedy framework. Conclusion. The performances of «Alien Child» were a huge success with the audience and were hotly discussed in the press. Regional authors in their assessments, follow the text of a review by Rosenthal, published in the «Pravda» newspaper. The piece by Shkvarkin was one of the most important modern comedies, so the “Alien Child” was estimated in a press within the framework of soviet drama in general. The simplicity of the plot of «Alien Child» was perceived in a positive way. Shkvarkin’s play was rated as funny, “sincere” and “warm”. Most reviewers noted in the «Alien Child» both entertaining and moral-like functions. Shkvarkin’s comedy was perceived as a very confident and significant, if not without some flaws, a step towards the development of Soviet comedy. Criticism appreciated the optimistic picture of the future that inspired the audience to work hard for the sake of a happy tomorrow. The same few claims were made to it: some unsuccessful puns and several unfinished plot moves and characters. It was perceived as a very confident and significant, though not devoid of in general insignificant flaws, step towards the development of the Soviet comedy. The artistic merits of “Alien Child” led critics to speculations about the tasks of comedies in the Soviet state.

Intellectual substyle is examined in trend of communicative stylistics of text as a component of cognitive style of language personality along with mental-psychological substyle which includes sphere of its emotional and intellectual motivation and psychological peculiarities; it also goes along with thesaurus substyle which reflects specificity of informational thesaurus of personality, its simplicity/complexity, measure, intensity, width, variety and originality of associations; at last it goes along with epistemic substyle which reflects support of object and practical experience either theory and logic, or figurative sense of reality in cognitive activity of language personality. From the view point of linguistics and with support of dictionaries intellectual substyle is defined by the author as typical for language personality intellectual peculiarities which are reflected into discursive practices and are estimated in positive or negative way in society, and are presented as distinctive features from the birth or in the process of education. These intellectual peculiarities include possibility of effective intellectual and creative activity which are expressed into remake of different information (complicated, abstract and daily), its analysis, comparison, synthesis, generalization, getting new information, possibility of providence, availability of knowledge, intellectual interest and achievements in intellectual sphere, quickness at situations comprehension and reactions on it, importance and measure of thoughts, subtext and mood feeling skill, possibility of its usage for certain aims.

The article is devoted to the problems of the educational process and the formation of ethnic identity of students. It emphasizes the important role of the school as an organic part of the social life of a multi-ethnic society, which aims to balance the educational interests of the individual, nation and society. The article identifies and justifies the leading pedagogical conditions of formation of ethnic identity: familiarizing students to the national culture, taking into account their age characteristics and need-motivational sphere, the integration of academic and extracurricular activities; creation of ethnic and cultural environment conducive to immersion students in their native culture; systematic and continuity of joint activity of the family, school and society. It is shown that the learning content to be as accurate as possible to reflect the life experience that students will need in their future activities in a multiethnic society.

In the course of research it is established that the professional experience of more than 4 years creates the conditions of professional growth of the identity of staff of law-enforcement bodies which determines the formation of steady personality traits, expressed in high subjective assessment of health, activity and mood, the reduced neyrotizm, personal and situational uneasiness, prevalence the extrovert properties of the personality. The article deals with the impact of Kierkegaard’s ideas on Thornton Wilder’s philosophical novels. Far from being the only major influence, this impact helps to make clear certain ideological points in the writer’s works and cannot be underestimated. After discovering Kierkegaard’s works in his early youth, Thornton Wilder kept returning to them during all his life. As a result, Kierkegaard’s philosophical ideas managed to find their way into most of Wilder’s novels, though the writer didn’t simply illustrate them with his own examples but made them an integral part of his own world, blending them with his own ideas, and entering into some controversy with them in his later works. At different stages of his writing career Wilder gave special attention to different aspects of Kierkegaard’s philosophy. The concept of faith was central to his early books, from The Cabala to Heaven’s My Destination; the concept of freedom became important in his mature works, The Ides of March in particular; while his last novels, The Eighth Day and Theophilus North, developed the idea of creative evolution.

The problem of speech influence of public language personality on media sphere is examined on the example of media discourse of M. A. Zakharov, who took part in the programme “Difiramb” and “Razbor polyotov” on radio “Echo of Moscow” in 2011–2015. The research is done on the material of media texts, which were put on the Internet. Speech behavior of language personality, comments and questions of Internet users and radio “Echo of Moscow” listeners are analyzed in the article. Dynamics in character of rating and comments in programmes of 2011–2015 with participation of M. A. Zakharov is revealed. The problem of public language personality’s influence in media communication is examined in view on mass addressee (with a glance to responses of radio listeners and Internet users) and individual addressee (anchor). A special attention is payed to regulative strategies in media discourse of public language personality.

The article represents the insufficiently studied up-to-date issue of Diversity Pedagogics, expanding its theoretical essence and its historical–cultural Russian origin. It deals with two main approaches to conception of Diversity Pedagogics in contemporary science. The first approach is considered in a context of a certain assignment for school, composed by society to solve up-to-date related problems. The second one represents a broader view on inclusive education that is beyond of creating essential conditions for teaching children with special needs. In terms of analysis of Diversity Pedagogics genesis in Russian history the two main directions of its evolutional development are emphasized: cultural diversity (differences according cultural, national, religious characteristics) and individual diversity (children in a difficult life situation and children with special needs). The cultural origin of diversity is properly researched, and it leads to conclusion that cultural diversity phenomenon contains its own Russian roots and distinctive characteristics that are traced back in Russian Pedagogics, in its applied and theoretical aspects, arrhythmic circulated in different types of world outlook, reflecting the culture-specific elements, cultural-historical processes and folk orthodox religious traditions in teaching.

The article investigates an important modern publishing strategy – a literary collection of stories concentrated on one theme and introducing the reader to a wide range of contemporary writers. The theme of the city is a text dominant in two analyzed books («Moscow: the meeting place» (2017) and «To live in Saint-Petersburg» (2017). It becomes the basis of forming the text of urban non-fiction with highest possible personal identity, which is expressed by frequent use of personal pronouns I, we, my and various toponyms significant to this or that author. The writer’s unique perception of the city allows to consider the text as a personal document which especially actualises the concept «memory». The importance of the autobiographical component typical for modern literary discourse and especially for non-fiction texts is seen on each text level. The conducted analysis leads to the conclusion that the texts of the two books can be viewed as thematically related non-fiction super-texts which demonstrate different perception of Moscow and Saint-Petersburg in the cultural space. Modern literature, including non-fiction, shows the importance of the main motifs of Saint-Petersburg texts which are enriched with more and more myths.

Pragmalinguistics is a core discipline within the modern linguistics. It is the study of human communication. This article deals with the choices speaker makes to express his intended meaning and the kinds of inferences that hearers draw from an utterance in the context of its use. The article surveys pragmalinguistics from different perspectives, presenting the main theories in pragmatic research, incorporating conscious verbal act as well as unconscious one. In the fast-developing field of implicit pragmalinguistics, our investigation fills the gap in the wide scope of today’s research revealing the actualization of the hidden grammatical meanings depending on the specific pragmatic situation of human communication. This article analyzes the verbal habits of New-Zealand politician John Key according to emotive and conative-oriented strategies. It also identifies the fragment of John’s verbal image based on automatized and unconscious choice of the speech signals, represented in the hidden verbal strategies. They are focused on the hidden conviction of the interlocutor and the formation of his mental state. The recipient takes them on an unconscious level simultaneously with lexical, semantic, grammatical forms and meanings. Speech signals of hidden intentions, as the contents of the hidden intentions are considered as the novelty of the work. The given verbal image allows us to reveal his automatized verbal experience, so therefore his individuality and uniqueness. The difficulty lies in the interpretation of these hidden intentions as well as their existence in speech and their perceptions by the recipients.

The implementation of master programs is considered. An assessment of the quality of the implementation of master programs on example of Department of Television and Control of the Tomsk State University of Control Systems and Radioelectronics was conducted. For the assessment, a questionnaire was conducted among subjects of the educational process. The main advantages and disadvantages of master programs on electromagnetic compatibility at the department of Television and Control are revealed. Factors influencing the decrease in the effectiveness of the educational process are revealed. The organization of a contact area of a teacher with students and the implementation of scientific work in the framework of training in the magistracy were considered. A set of measures to improve the implementation of master programs, related to the organization of the educational process, the revision of the formats of work with students, the conduct of research activities undergraduates is developed. The results of partial implementation of this complex were presented. Tests for verification of the residual knowledge of students and for internal monitoring of the quality assessment of the educational process were developed. The testing was conducted and it’s results were analyzed. The importance of conducting a systematic assessment of the educational process quality was shown.

Bolotnova Nina Sergeyevna ASSOCIATIVE FIELD OF POETIC TEXT AS A READER’S COGNITIVE ACTIVITY REFLECTION // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2019. Issue 2 (199). P. 41-48

Introduction. The study of different aspects of cognitive activity and its reflection in various types of texts is a topical problem of cognitive linguistics and communicative theory of the text including communicative stylistics. Therein a research of associative author’s activity and addressee of a text is of great interest, particularly an analysis of associative field of poetic text in cognitive aspect in the network of regulative theory and theory of textual associations, which are elaborated in communicative stylistics of text. The aim of the article is the detection of important for the text interpretation regularities of cognitive activity of collective addressee (reader) on the basis of reactions to poetic text-stimulus and modelling of its associative field. Material and Methods of research. In concordance with the methodological base of communicative stylistics of the text for researching of textual associations, we used data of associative lexicography, results of the free associative experiment for the text perception, modelling of the text associative field on the basis of the collected data, the subsequent comparative analysis, examination of the lexical text structure and key words in image prospective of a whole verse as well as introspection method. Results. The research was done on the data of the associative experiment according to readers’ perception of a verse by M. Tsvetaeva “Сountry”. The connection of text-induced associations with its lexical structure and keywords updated by the author is substantiated in the article. The dependence of associative development of poetic text on its regulative potential and inductive lexical structure of contrast type were determined. Typical and individual readers’ associations with the text were revealed, invariant character of association ways, its conditionality by structure, semantics and pragmatics were determined. The typical ways of associations are the following: reactions that reflect emotional tone of the text, its idea and thematic originality, key words, which became actual in the text by the author, author’s elements of text lexical structure, that are commented by precise definitions, additions and abstracts. We found out reactions, which reflect visual and sound world picture as well as stimulated by emotional tone of textstimulus; reactions, which were conditioned by text theme and author’s elements of textual lexical paradigms in the text structure; reactions of cultural character, that reflect individual thesaurus of readers. All these reactions were identified among not common associations along with single not interpreted linguistically. Generality and differences of certain reactions and ways of associating in textual associative field of the verse “Сountry” by M. Tsvetaeva with main ways of associating with key word country in “The Russian Associative Dictionary” were defined. Conclusion. The proposed approach to the research of cognitive (interpretative) reader’s activity of poetic text showed that collective associative field of the text, which reflects its regulative potential and formal and semantic structure, revealed in independent associative experiment, allowed making a conclusion about some cognitive activity peculiarities of informants – subjects of text-stimulus perception.

962 male and female students of Tomsk State University, aged between 17 and 21, of various physical aptitude and health levels, were interviewed and underwent a psychological survey. The conducted research revealed the role of the conditions of gender socialization in forming professional expectations of the interviewees. St was proved that physical aptitude and health for forming a lifestyle and professional self-determination were more important for male students than for female ones. The conditions of socialization provided by the parents' family and the process of physical education, in which the role of the father is indispensable, play the principal role in forming the physical culture of a personality.
