We consider two types of modifications of Born-Infeld gravity in the Palatini formulation and explore their dynamics in the early universe. One of these families considers f(R) corrections to the Born-Infeld Lagrangian, which can be seen as modifications of the dynamics produced by the quantum effects of matter, while the other consists on different powers of the elementary building block of the Born-Infeld Lagrangian, which we denote by |Ωˆ|. We find that the two types of nonsingular solutions that arise in the original Born-Infeld theory are also present in these extensions, being bouncing solutions a stable and robust branch. Singular solutions with a period of approximate de Sitter inflation are found even in universes dominated by radiation.

The article presents the results of empirical verification of professionally important personal qualities of teachers of technical subjects of military higher educational institutions. Analytical review of scientific publications on the problem of research allowed to come to the preliminary conclusion that effective pedagogical interaction of a technical disciplines’ teacher with the students of military university in the first place contribute to such professionally significant individual psychological qualities and characteristics, as empathy, reflection, communicativeness, social perceptiveness, abstract thinking and spatial imagination. A survey of experts (teachers and students of military higher institution) showed that a teacher of technical disciplines needs to have a certain combination of professionally significant qualities and properties, and, first of all, such as empathy, reflexivity, communicativeness, social perceptiveness, abstract thinking, spatial imagination. The results of the experiment verified the assumption that professionally significant qualities of the teacher of military university can be purposefully developed through the implementation of the specially designed training programs.

The article is devoted to the formation of new words in the Russian language of the eastern emigration of the 20–40s of the XX century. The object of analysis is the new words which appeared in the Russian language of the Eastern abroad as a result of word-formation. First of all different morphological means of word-formation, variety of suffixal and affixal methods and compressive word-formation are under examination more often. Word-formation models and their activity in the Russian language of Eastern abroad are investigated on the material of the Harbin journal “Rubezh” which has been published in Harbin since 1926 till 1945 years, memorial sources by I. Dyakov, E. Taskina, E. Shirinskaya and others, and works of art of Russian Eastern countries. Conditions for the functioning of the Russian language in Harbin of the first half of the twentieth century are seen as unique, contributing not only to preservation but also to the full functioning of the Russian language in Manchuria. The article analyzes 45 new lexical items created in the language of the eastern countries: Nouns (77.8 per cent of appellation of total new words), Pronouns (17.8 per cent), Verbs (it is only one word in our work), Adverbs (it is only one word in our work too).

The analysis is based upon the archive of the folklore data collected by a linguist A. I. Kuzmina in the 1960s. The database includes 17 texts, which present the folklore stories of Itya widespread among the Selkups. The majority of these narratives with participation of this hero recorded by A. I. Kuzmina are previously unpublished. Their publication will dramatically extend the empirical base for the folklore and ethnohistorical studies. The plot of the stories is common to all Selkup groups. The data of A. I. Kuzmina supplement the folklore plots of the Middle Ob dialectal area (Ivankino, Tibinak, Konerovo).

The article considers the problem of interrelation of parent-child relationship and personal maturity of the adoptive parents. Shows the dependence of successful development of the child in a foster family on the level of personal maturity of the adoptive parents and the type of parent-child relationship. Presents the results of diagnostics of childparent relationship and personal maturity of the adoptive parents. It is revealed that empathy, reflexivity and creativity of personal maturity of the parents determines the line and the type of their relationship with children. It is established that the disadvantages of the reflexivity of parents impede the development needs of self-actualization, and emotional responsiveness to the experiences of children, manifestations of creativity. At the same time, the ability of personally mature adoptive parents to analyze the strengths and weaknesses of personal development ensures their need for selfactualization, the choice of effective ways of interacting with children, humane treatment. It is believed that the level of development of personal maturity of parents ensures harmonious interpersonal relationship in foster family, creation of a favorable psychological climate. The authors come to the conclusion that the development of personal maturity of the adoptive parents is one of the factors for improving parent-child relationship in foster care, to avoid secondary orphanhood.

The article addresses the issue of the pedagogical activity of a world renown surgeon, Professor Valentin Felixovich Voyno-Yasenetsky (St. Luka, Hierarch of the Russian Orthodox Church) deep in the rear: in the city of Krasnoyarsk and Krasnoyarsk region in the first difficult years of the great Patriotic war (1941–1943). It describes Professor’s work as a teacher at the extensive system of the evacuation hospitals of the city of Krasnoyarsk at the premises of the biggest evacuation hospital no. 1515 in the Krasnoyarsk region which was the main place of work of V. F. Voyno-Yasenetsky. It also presents some evidence of the participation of V. F. Voyno-Yasenetsky in the advanced training of doctors-physicians who were working outside Krasnoyarsk (Krasnoyarsk territory) during the war time which was linked with the flights of the surgeon as part of the air medical service team. This article also refutes all allegations of some scholars about systemic pedagogical activities of V. F. Voyno-Yasenetsky in the Krasnoyarsk medical Institute formed in November 1942 which was established on the basis of the evacuated offices of Voronezh, 1st and 2nd Leningrad medical institutions, Leningrad pediatric medical and dental institutions. The article also states the reasons which gave grounds for these allegations. At the same time the article gives the bases that had influence on the importance and need of conducting continuous pedagogical activity of the Professor surgeon V. F. Voyno-Yasenetsky in order to give knowledge and experience in the field of purulent surgery to surgeons. The results of the study threw light on a difficult war-time period in the life of Professor V. F. Voyno-Yasenetsky and his training of military surgeons in the health care hospitals deep under the conditions of the qualified medical personnel shortage.

Varlaro Francesco THE CONCEPT OF PHYTOMETAPHOR IN THE ANALYSIS OF THE RUSSIAN-ITALIAN TRANSLATION THE KOLYMA TALES BY V. SHALAMOV // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2019. Issue 7 (204). P. 72-78

Introduction. During the last years of the last century the conceptual sphere “the world of plants” got the attention of linguists. In many of their works, linguists analyse phytometaphor in comparison between two languages. The purpose of this article is to describe the semantic-pragmatical use of phytometaphor in Shalamov’s work The Kolyma Tales and the possibility if its translation in the Italian language. Material and methods. By examining the Italian word “piantone” (orderly) this article focuses on the particular case in which there is not a phytometaphor in the original text but it is present in the translated text. The study proceeds with the analysis of the main characteristics of the figurative sense of this word in both languages and the translators’ motivation in the use of it. Results and discussion. One important feature of Shalamov’s prose is the use of anthropomorphic details in the description of nature. After analyzing the first cycle of stories, we can divide the author’s used phytometaphors into four categories: 1) plant products used as a kind of currency; 2) the external characteristics of a person; 3) likening plants to animals; 4) the internal characteristics of a person. It is important to underline, that in other cases phytometaphor is not used in the original text but it is used in the translated text. After the linguistic analysis of the material (Russian, Italian and French dictionaries and corpora) it is possible to say that the word “piantone” with the meaning of soldier is not an Italian national and specific word but is a calc from French. Conclusion. According to the detailed analysis of the dictionaries and considering the peculiarities of V. The article deals with the conception of mass and individual consciousness correlation in L.Andreyev's creative work and analyzes the image of the crowd in short stones «it was so» and «The Curse of the Beast*. In his creative work L. Andreyev anticipated the latest discoveries of Western phsychoiogists and sociologists in mutual conditionality of mass and power. The author of the article concludes that the writer's interest in the phenomenon of the crowd indicates actualization of the problem of the normal life arrangement in Russian cultural consciousness at the beginning of the XX-th century.
