4804 | We study a one-dimensional large-N U(N) gauge theory on a circle as a toy model of higher dimensional Yang-Mills theories. We nd a new class of saddle point solutions in this theory. These solutions are characterized by the expectation values of the Polyakov loop operators, which wind the circle different times. We nd two evidences that these solutions appear as intermediate states in certain dynamical processes. One is from a numerical calculation and another is from the dual gravity. The similar solutions exist in a wide class of SU(N) and U(N) gauge theories on S1 including QCD and pure Yang-Mills theories in various dimensions if N >= 3. 4809 | The article is focused on the methods of compounds’ distinguishing in the English language. The notions of grammatical continuity and semantic integrity of a lexical combination are analysed. Various criteria of differentiating compounds from phrases are observed: phonetic, orthographic, morphologic, syntactic and semantic. Special emphasis in laid on the practical application of each criterion. It is shown that none of them can be used alone for making precise differentiation between compounds and phrases. 4813 | In this article we are discussing the issue of teacher training for vocational education system – a professional field that under present-day conditions is not limited to educational institutions. In the context of networking cooperation, employersponsored education and dual vocational training system, a person who trains future specialists to implement various types of professional activities can act as a career educator. Responsibilities of such an educator are, among others, to manage the process of an individual student’s professional development, to encourage their self-identification during the training and within their professional field, to help them find their own individual learning paths. Competencies required to perform such tasks cannot be formulated neither within the chosen field’s subject content, nor within a traditional pedagogical program. In present conditions we also see that the focus of a career educator’s job is shifting. In the traditional sense the job of an educator is focused on the learning process, with special attention paid to determining patterns in this process. The job of a career educator, however, is closely connected with types of professional activities for which students prepare during the course of non-university level higher education, vocational training, or supplementary vocational education. The specifics of this job determine the distinctive criteria needed when selecting content for career educator training programs. Consequently, established principles of creating the contents for “Vocational education (for different fields)” programs should be augmented with principles that reflect the specific content of educational activities. These principles must be carried out for both undergraduate and graduate programs. The principles for developing an educational program that we propose in this article are instrumental in selecting the content for a career educator training program, they reflect the specifics of the job, and they also take into account the challenges that educators face on the current stage of vocational training system development. 4814 | The following article studies phonetic and prosodic changes in mother’s speech. We consider that the situation of awaking a child preconditions these changes. We propose the role of a mother as socially relevant. Mother’s speech is an informational key to the system of a native language. Basing on Russian and the French language, we analyze qualitative and quantitative changes in consonants and vowels in lexical units of different parts of speech, as well as changes in tone and rate of mother’s utterances. We take into account such phonetic phenomena as longitude of a sound, palatalization of consonants, changes of values in tone. The changes of values in tone are illustrated by graphs. The material for analysis includes audio and video of recorded talk between mothers and their children (age from 0 to 10 months). The participants were divided into two groups: 1) Russian-speaking dyad “mother-child” (5 participants); 2) French-speaking dyad “mother-child” (4 participants). To undertake the analysis we applied computer software package for the scientific analysis of speech in phonetics called PRAAT. Resulting in setting minimal and maximal values in tone of analyzed utterances, correlation of longitude of a sound with tone and pragmatic meaning we conclude that these features of mother’s speech are universal for the situation of awaking a child. 4817 | The article deals with the concept “Lexical structure of a text” as one of the major notions in functional lexicology and communicative stylistics. In connection with the fact that the basic element of any piece of art is a word, the fundamental element in research of creation of a specific author is identification of peculiarities of the lexical structure of his poetic texts. The analysis made by the author of the article makes it possible to compare the features of the lexical structure of the texts with different creative periods of the author and to identify a certain dynamics. In order to carry out the analysis of the lexical structures of O. E. Mandelstam’s poetic texts based on the periodization of the poet’s work offered by M. L. Gasparov, three most typical, written at different times poems were chosen: relating to the period of early creation “More tender than tender”/ ”Nezhneye nezhnogo” (1909), to the period “Tristia” “The light Moscow rain”/ ”Moskovskiy dozhdik” (1922), to the period of the thirties of the twentieth century “We live with no sense of the country”/” My zhivem, pod soboyu ne chuya strany” (1933). The research found that the lexical structure of poetic texts by O. E. Mandelstam is notable for its wealth and diversity. The poetic texts chosen for the research made it possible to identify various types of their lexical structuring (Depending on the central main point of associative-semantic macro network of the work; depending on the dominance of one of the three types of sense relationship in the framework of lexical microstructures: addition, intensification and contrast; depending on the degree of explicitness / implicitness of dominant lexical microstructure). It is established that the prevalence of defined type of lexical structure in poetic texts by the author correlates with different periods of work of the poet in accordance with evolution of his poetic and linguistic worldview. The study of religious and literary texts of hagiographic character of the Siberian Holy righteous elder Theodore of Tomsk in this article is carried out in the aspect of receptive aesthetics. The first part of the article is devoted to the study of “horizon of expectations” of the young readers of contemporary hagiographic literature. To do this, an experiment was conducted with a written survey of adolescents of secondary and Sunday schools of Tomsk to ascertain the sociology of their reader taste and competence. In the course of the experiment, the students answered the questions of the questionnaire, which allowed to identify the current and potential reader of the hagiographic literature with the existing ideas about the cultural concept of holiness, as well as clarify the attitude of the respondents to the hagiographic literature. The second part of the article presents the results of a study of the reception by children of adolescent age of children’s life-related works about the Siberian saint. 4835 | Based on archival materials the process of preparation and celebration in the Far East of the USSR in the 1930s of one of the main Soviet holidays - the Great October Socialist Revolution is considered. The Soviet authorities actively used the traditions of holidays and festive rites as one of the important aspects of political, ideological and psychological treatment of the population. In the 1930s. this holiday in its political and ideological aspect was aimed not so much to revive the events of the recent past, as to draw public attention to the pressing state tasks and to stimulate labor and patriotic impulses of the masses in both central regions of the country and in the provinces. The Far East did not stay away from the all-Union festive tradition. The local party and economic authorities through the creation of festive commissions conducted a broad political and ideological (talks, newspaper readings, meetings with participants in revolutionary events, the publications of the festive issues of newspapers, festive broadcasts on radio, etc.), mass organizational and preparatory (cleaning and decoration of streets, squares, buildings of settlements, decoration of columns of demonstrations, replenishment of stores with goods and products, timely payment of salaries, bonuses of the best workers) work on the eve of and during the holiday. Reporting documentation of the Soviet economic authorities clearly demonstrates the successes and omissions in the celebration of the Great October Revolution in the region in the 1930s. 4836 | The paper discusses the compositional semantics of adjective-noun combinations like fake gun. Compositionality appears to be one of the most cognitively basic principles guiding semantic research. This study argues the claim of formal semantics that the meaning of an expression is a function of the meanings of its parts and of the way they are syntactically combined. The article adduces support for the claim that the meaning of the whole cannot be predicted from the meanings of the parts and the way they are put together. The investigation makes an attempt to find the relations between formally integrated linguistic structure and conceptually integrated structures. The adjective fake is seen as privative for which an instance of the adjective + noun combination is never an instance of the noun alone. Complexes with fake entail the negation of the noun modified by fake. The paper accounts for the meaning of adjective-noun combinations in terms of conceptual integration. Within the framework of mental spaces theory the adjective fake prompts for a specific complex mapping scheme and emerges a novel conceptual blend. In terms of conceptual blending the adjective fake calls for two input spaces with a disanalogy connector such that an element in one place is real, but in the other is not. The article highlights combinatorial possibilities of fake. Of particular concern is the issue that the appropriate use of fake requires the activation of an appropriate frame. 4845 | The subject of this paper is the problem of the author’s dramatic plot. It is the designation of the appraisal and from – without – vision peculiarities of the story depicted by the author. These peculiarities tell the playwright both from the other authors interpreting the same plot situation and from the hero having his own comprehension of what is going on from within the dramatic situation. Besides Chekhov’s plot is not just the author’s plot. It is plot of special typology. The main function of heroes in it is not the action but the personality’s understanding of his present, past and future. On these grounds the integral world picture only appears on interaction of the position in vision and appraisal of the story by the characters from the reader’s/spectator’s position. As a result, the world model expressing the individual peculiarities of the author’s life conception is recreated on the territory of the reader’s consciousness. The playwrights of the 70th–early 80th of the 20th century typologically created the plots similar to Chekhov’s ones. But it is important that the authors used his elements as well – the situations keeping the author’s vision, heroes, with the help of which Chekhov’s world model appeared in his time. It allows us to speak about the working – out of Chekhov’s plot as “someone else’s”. In the final analysis, Chekhov’s plot has some prognostic functions. It sets the direction of the modern history movement, predicts key events. At the same time the unjustified of plot expectations allows the playwrights to designate, first of all, their own life understanding different from Chekhov’s; secondly, the principal lack of coincidence of their time and Chekhov’s time. Only in the situation of recognizing Chekhov’s heroes and situation become “the codes” allowing to decode the modern dramatic story, to reveal the plurality of its meanings, the individuality of the author’s position. In its turn, new meanings of Chekhov’s plot appear in the new author’s and time context. 4848 | The article gives a description and assessment of non-normative linguistic facts (misprints, typo errors, violations of the lexical rules) operating in the street space of Omsk and collected as part of a student project designed to improve the ecology of the city speech. On the basis of numerical calculations were obtained the data on three unstable sites of modern spelling rules. Revealed a wide range of blunders. It was concluded that the culture of street speech communication, which is media for the type of recipient, is being formed by native speakers with low literacy. Presented and commented on the results of the survey, the purpose of which was to study the perception of texts with a misprint, a typo error, a slang term by residents of Omsk and the Omsk region. Results of the survey show that norm violations were fixed by informants in proportion to the degree of how gross the mistakes are and give them the desire to correct the text. The latter point supports the position of the normative view of the language.
