4761 | Introduction. Taking into account the updating goals and methods of modern education, the relevance of revealing the potential of the digital environment for the implementation of personality-oriented learning is justified. The search for effective methods of pedagogical support of an individualized student’s work in new information conditions is substantiated. Material and methods. The implementation of the objective approach to the organization of students’ independent work in a digital environment is proposed and methodologically justified. As a prerequisite is considered the “culturecongruent” of this approach, i.e. compliance with the level of modern information culture and the educational results demanded by society. The key features of the learning task in the digital space are identified in terms of goal setting, content management, the development of digital tools, interaction with other subjects, taking into account the individual student’s needs and requests, manifested in their information behavior. The concept of “digital microenvironment of the learning task” is introduced and disclosed, embodying the specifics of setting educational tasks and creating situations for their solution in the digital education space. Results and discussion. The results of surveys of university students and teachers are presented and analyzed, which made it possible to identify the real features of pedagogical activity in the digital education space and correlate them with the students’ attitude to the use of various methods of interaction with resources and persons in the digital educational environment. The data confirmed that the majority of teachers do not fully realize the potential of the digital educational environment in the context of modern education priorities and are not sufficiently oriented to students’ information and communication requests. Conclusion. The learning task is considered as a unit, according to which an independent learning and cognitive activity is organized in the digital environment. The design of the “learning tasks of digital microenvironments” provides a wide range of opportunities for organizing a productive, personality-oriented independent student work. The nature of the educational activity in the “digital microenvironment” depends both on the pedagogical methodology and on the educational position and characteristics of the student’s informational behavior. 4781 | Introduction. The study focuses on news discourse and on its persuasive dimension in particular. News discourse has a number of standard strategies to promote the persuasive process for assertions. If propositions are to be accepted as true or plausible, there must be special means to enhance their appearance of truth and plausibility. Material and methods. The theoretical perspective of the paper is the critical epistemic discourse analysis proposed by T. A. van Dijk. The paper considers mental representation of the event nominated in British and American mass media as RUSSIAN SPY POISONING. Results and discussion. The study highlights the evasion strategy as a form of discourse-based mental influence in news discourse. From a pragmatic approach evasion is viewed as violation of one of the conversational maxims formulated by P. Grice which requires contributions to conversations to be truthful. The author claims that the aim of the evasion strategy in representing news is to discursively emphasize those properties of mental models that are consistent with the interests of the dominant social groups and discursively deemphasize those properties that are inconsistent with their interests. Consequently, evasion strategy results in partial, incomplete or biased understanding of the news story in the interests of a dominant social group. Evasion presupposes formulation of meanings in such a way that they are not merely understood but also accepted as the truth or at least as a possible truth. The article discusses strategic devices of evasion like hedging, referential vagueness, focus shift, selective use of evidential and epistemic markers, half truth. Conclusion. The author comes to the conclusion that evasion strategy contributes to the formation or reactivation of preferred mental models and may thus be used in manipulative discourse use. Keywords: evasion strategy, news discourse, vagueness, hedging, foregrounding, focus shift, manipulation | 862
4782 | Introduction. Various educational organizations create a characteristic educational environment that ensures the specificity of the educational impact on students. The key task of high school is the education and upbringing of a citizen, in connection with which it is advisable to talk about the formation of values that ensure the prosocial orientation of the individual, which in turn finds expression in the creation and preservation of the world and oneself in the world. The impact of the educational environment on the personality of the student is carried out simultaneously with a number of other translators of values: family, friends, the media, etc., which entails the formation of a hierarchy of values of the adolescent in the process of their mutual integration and determines his life perspective. The purpose of the study is to determine the relationship between the formation of the value-semantic sphere of high school students with the current educational environment of educational organizations. Materials and methods. We have used empirical analysis and questionnaire methods. The study of the educational environment was carried out by analyzing the documents presented on the official websites of three educational organizations in the city of Irkutsk (Lyceum No. 2, secondary school No. 45, Women’s Orthodox Gymnasium). The questionnaire of students included the methodology “Emotional orientation of the personality” (by B. I. Dodonov) and “Meaningful life orientations” (by D. A. Leontyev). Results and discussion. The study showed a difference in the development of the emotional and value sphere, which in some aspects differs from the pupils of the Orthodox gymnasium, lyceum and secondary school. Most high school students of all the examined groups purposefully plan their activities, strive to achieve high results, demonstrating socially significant values. Conclusion. The methods used in the study confirmed the differences in the value-semantic sphere of students of three institutions that are different in the characteristics of the organization of the educational environment. It was determined that the glorical emotions associated with the need for self-affirmation are most pronounced among the gymnasium students of the Orthodox gymnasium, the practical emotions caused by the activity, its success – among the lyceum students, communicative – among the students of the secondary school. The article also focuses on the images of the past, the present, the addressee (Spanish society) and the country. The scientific value of this paper is in describing the most popular communicative strategies and tactics of linguistic manipulation used by the Spanish King. Conclusion. The monarch’s Christmas messages can be considered a typical example of ceremonial eloquence in which the Head of State acts as a significant public figure, not only interpreting facts and events in order to preserve the unity of the nation and stability of the country, but also discussing moral issues based on universal values. 4795 | Open ination is a cosmological scenario in which the universe is a vacuum bubble nucleated from false vacuum decay and a period of inationary expansion followed in the nucleated bubble. This scenario is currently receiving renewed interest in the context of the string theory landscape. Since there are a large number of metastable de Sitter vacua in the string landscape, tunneling from one vacuum to another occurs frequently through the bubble nucleation and open ination is naturally realized. We argue that though the universe appears to be very at, a small deviation of омега0 from unity can make the effect of tensor-type perturbations on the large angle CMB anisotropy signicant. Thus we are already testing the string landscape against observations. Keywords: string landscape, false vacuum decay, open ination | 861

4799 | The article is focused on the methods of compounds’ distinguishing in the English language. The notions of grammatical continuity and semantic integrity of a lexical combination are analysed. Various criteria of differentiating compounds from phrases are observed: phonetic, orthographic, morphologic, syntactic and semantic. Special emphasis in laid on the practical application of each criterion. It is shown that none of them can be used alone for making precise differentiation between compounds and phrases. Each of them should be supported by approximately two other criteria. Therefore, the author gives examples of the most effective ways of using the methods described in the article.
