The article is devoted to the methods of teaching students the basic often applied algorithms of solving computer problems. The main feature of this methodology is the consistent study of the basic algorithms (sorting and search, information theory and cryptography, recursive algorithms and graph algorithms) implying the use of any programming language and further implementation of the studied algorithms in practice. This course includes laboratory practical tasks. These tasks have the increasing difficulty. At the beginning of the course a simple task demands from the student filling of admissions. More difficult tasks assume independent development and debugging of computer programs.

The article analyses the state of the Russian language in American education in the XXI century. As Russian is critically important for the USA, its teaching is closely connected with the issues of national defense and national security. The article shows that the present cooling of the relationship between Russia and the USA should not be regarded as the key factor in teaching Russian in American system of education and does not predetermine to a great extent the interest of Americans in learning it. The author focuses on the factors that may stimulate the interest in the Russian language in the USA, such as the activity of Russian communities, appearance of working places for Russian language specialists, spread of student and academic exchange programs, and the existence of the policy of the government which will aim at promoting foreign language teaching in the country in general. The article gives examples of the present day interest in Russian in the USA such as Russian dual programs, Russian-American exchange programs, student Olympiads, academic cooperation. The article looks at statistical data of the spread of the Russian language in American educational system nowadays and discusses the future perspective of the Russian language learning and teaching in the country.

One of the major problems that currently acquires great importance is the aging of the population. The prevalence of mental disorders among persons aged 60 years, on average, is higher than in the general population. Universally accepted definition of mental aging is considered as a process of age-related changes of higher mental functions, characterizing the final period of human life. With age, there are significant structural and functional changes in the body naturally, having individual differences, in turn changing the mark on the functioning of the individual. Age factors impose a significant imprint on the occurrence, dynamics and correction of neurotic disorders. Non-psychotic mental disorders in elderly age have their specifics differ from those occurring in other age periods and therefore require a different approach to therapy. This article discusses the possibility of psychological assistance to elderly patients with non-psychotic mental disorders.

The subject of this article is the problem of «point of view» in Dostoevskij’s novel «Brother Karamazovs». The term «point of view» is understood according to Uspenskij-Schmid as a component of a text’s structure, which refers either to a narrator, or to different characters in the text and which finds expression on different levels such as time, space, ideology, perception and language. The author of the article suggests advancing the concept of different positions of the narrator’s perspective in the text and considers the problem of point of view in connection with the concept of «a semantic field» (Lotman). The degree of possibility for understanding of an opposition between semantic fields is defined as a degree of authoritarian viewpoint.

The article describes the training of bachelors of technological education in Herzen State Pedagogical University with the aim to exchange experiences. The educational robotics has changed the methodology of training of bachelors of technological education in Herzen State Pedagogical University. The bachelors of technological education in Herzen State Pedagogical University learn different cybernetic robotic platforms and programming of the robots in order not only to teach “Technology” in schools, but also to work in FabLabs. Introduction. This article deals with the theoretic issues of the Kazakh linguistics. In spite of short history of studying the Kazakh language (it began to be studied since only the second part of the 19th century), this time was enough to the Kazakh linguistic tradition to form and to develop. However, the work characterizing the main features of the formation of this tradition has not been carried out until today. The aim of the article is to describe peculiarities of formation of the Kazakh linguistic tradition. Material and methods. The work being carried out is based on the results of a theoretical analysis of the characteristics of other linguistic traditions. Since the object of study is not the language itself, but the methods of its research, structural contrastive analysis is given to the main place among other methods. Results and discussion. Conducted analysis has demonstrated that the Arabic writing system which was used for the Kazakh texts at the 19th century made some linguists to analyze some spheres of the Kazakh language (for example, its system of consonants) in terms of the Arabic linguistic tradition. However, the main part of the theory of the Kazakh linguistics is formed under the influence of the European linguistic tradition because its researchers were educated according to the last one. The principles and approaches of the European linguistic tradition were transferred to the Kazakh language, thanks to which the Kazakh linguistic tradition was able to quickly and qualitatively develop in a relatively short period of time. However, applying of the European linguistics approaches to analyzing some of the language elements has led to forming erratic concepts conflicting with the language nature. Some of the modern linguists claim that some of the existing concepts need to be reviewed according to the peculiarities of an exploring language. Conclusion. This article contains a unique analysis of the main peculiarities of the Kazakh linguistic tradition including the level of its independence, reasons of its formation, its language basis, inherent approach to exploring language, ways of understanding the standard, the way of language description, the scope of the language system exploration, the type of description and ways of phonetics, morphology and syntax descriptions. In this article, the results of research in various spheres of Kazakh linguistics are united in a single tradition. The results of the study are useful for lectures on comparative typology and Turkology.

On the example of cultivation of sprout cabbage of a kind «Nadezhda» in the summer period influencing of meteorological conditions 1999-2003 years to productivity of correction light films for protection closed soil is investigated. With usage of techniques of biological testing of films is rotined, that challenging influencing to growth and development of plants («polysvetany» effect) correction light films render only at enough favorable temperature and light meteorological conditions, giving considerable effects of increase of biomass of spout and economic productivity of horse radish. At a decrease of mean temperatures on 5-7 °C or increase of temperatures on 8-10 °C from optimum for cultivation of plants and long-term period of dense cloud cover during realization of experiment in conditions of closed soil without an auxiliary illumination and heating «polysvetany» effect is not watched. The different concepts of the connection between the social hierarchy and the language are viewed and analysed in the article. The given theoretical statements and the results of the reseach confirm the credibility of the concept of the ideological origin of the connection. The research of the changes of such an anthropo-centred category as “nationality” within the ideological technologies exemplifies the way how the language can be used by the political elite as a power means – a method for constructing or maintaining some social conventions towards the social groups.

Peat deposit of marsh ecosystem «Tagan» is characterized by presence of mani groups of soil microorganisms, which are able to convert different peat compounds. In upper lay of native soil of ecosystem ammonificative microorganisms with domination nonsporiferous forms are the most abundant, and in bottom lay organisms assimilating mineral forms of nitrogen are plentiful (that is coordinated with distribution N-NH3 on deep is deposits). Nitrifiers and cellulosedestroyers developing in nutrient medium are less active. Content of microorganisms in native soil is constant. Cultivation of permanent grasses during 18-20 years stimulated development of microflora on deep of relict peat. Content of all groups microorganisms including organisms assimilating mineral forms of nitrogen, bacillus, actinomycete, denitrifiers, nitrifiers was essentially increased. Increase in the number of these (and others) microorganisms can point out probability of destruction amplification of organic matter in recultivated part of soil

Maltseva Alla Aleksandrovna DYNAMICS OF LANGUAGE CHANGE AND SOCIOLINGUISTIC STATUS OF THE LANGUAGE (BASED ON CHUKCHI-KORYAK DATA) // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2012. Issue 1 (116). P. 64-69

The paper, based on data of three languages of the same language family, but with different sociolinguistic status, demonstrates that the development of the language is determined mainly by sociolinguistic factors. Most of these factors are unique for each of the Chukchi-Koryak languages (and that is why the results are different) and one important factor is similar: bilingualism of native speakers and the impact of the Russian language. In the fi eld of grammar the infl uence of the Russian language is hidden from direct observation, and is expressed in development of forms and constructions with corresponences in Russian, and in removal of non-congruent ones.

The biographic sense of I. A. Bunin’s poem “Canary” (1921) is reconstructed in the article. The communicative status and “parallel” reading of the poem and documentary prose (memoirs, letters, etc.) have specified Bunin in the interference of two stories – a singing canary and a poet-emigrant. The author’s relation to the events, which have occurred in Russia of 1917, through the latent communication of the latter with “wonderful island” and Atlantis, comes to light. The research of “the canary text” of this period allows us involving Bunin into the context of recreated literary dialogue.

The article contains the analysis of English sport snowboard terms the selection of which is made from English terminological dictionaries and thematic Internet resources in the English language. The results of the research show that more than half of the English sport snowboard lexicon consists structurally of two-component, three-component and four-component phrases. Semantically two thirds of the English sport snowboard terms denote different types of the board for snowboard, body armour for snowboard, binding and its parts. One third of the English snowboard terminology comprises terms that express parts of the board for snowboard, clothes and boots for snowboard as well as their parts.

Li Jingjing SYSTEM OF PRINCIPLES OF SELECTING TEXTS FOR FORMING INTERCULTURAL COMPETENCES OF FOREIGN STUDENTS-PHILOLOGISTS (LEVEL B2) // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2017. Issue 7 (184). P. 128-133

The article is connected with one of the main problems of methodology of forming intercultural competence in teaching Russian language to foreign students-philologists – working out principles of selecting teaching texts. With the help of the analysis of common factors, that affect functioning of all pedagogical systems, we have worked out and systematized 8 particular principles of selecting teaching texts for forming intercultural competence. Basing on the general factor of “taking the teaching goals into account” we have put forward the principles of the communicative, intercultural, educational, informative and the developing value of the text. Basing on the general factor of “taking the teaching conditions into account” we have worked out principle of “the correspondence of the text with the profile of higher education for foreign students”. Basing on the factor of “taking into account the characteristics of students” we have put forward principle of the correspondence of the text with the students’ language level and principle of taking the native culture of foreign students into consideration. In the article we also described 12 criteria, which allow implementing these principles in the process of selection of educational texts. According to the principles and the criteria, it was confirmed that, Russian texts for children’s reading, which are regarded as an important means of popular pedagogy, can be used as teaching material. The system of the principles and criteria is presented in the form of a table.
