Three-dimensional acceleration in general relativity can be defined so that spinless particle in the process of evolution in an external gravitational field can not exceed the speed of light. We ask what happens if a spinless particle is replaced by test-particle with spin one-half. Inclusion of spin-gravitational interaction gives generalized Papapetrou equations with modified metric along the world-line. The modified metric should be used to calculate the acceleration of spinning particles. Inclusion of spin-electromagnetic interaction in flat space gives generalized Frenkel equations, where an effective metric along world-line arises for the particle with anomalous magnetic moment. This implies that intervals of time (and distance) probed by such particle in the presence of electromagnetic field slightly differ from those in empty space.

The article reveals the specifics of the genesis of money and monetary relations in primitive culture from the perspective of facts stated in anthropology, which sufficiently suggested that money existed in primitive culture. Directly to economic exchange (barter), they were not required, but the money worked in non-functioning forms of exchange and initiated rational disposal of surplus. Money in the ritual exchange of “Kula” united the different parts of the primitive society, after that the economic exchange was possible. In the ritual of “potlatch” the money were fixed amount consumed for sacrificial benefits that had to return to the owners with increasing in future.

The paper is devoted to the issue of synonymy in terminology. Authors reveal the meaning of the notion “terminological synonymy”. They turn attention to the generalization of theories related to principles of synonymy in terminology. It’s known that there are different points of view on the existence of term-synonyms. In the paper such items as “synonym”, “doublet”, “variant” are analyzed by different linguists. Through the example of landscape study peculiarities of usage of synonyms in the Russian and German languages are shown to nominate different fragments of the linguistic world-image. Polylexical relations inside terminological systems are becoming more and more popular nowadays, and landscape study proves this fact. It should be emphasized that earlier such relations were considered as unacceptable.

The article considers the formation of “professional competence” term. Corresponding psychological and pedagogical literature was reviewed, correlative terms were analyzed. On the basis of information received the correlation between terms “professionalism”, “professional readiness” and “professional competency” was revealed and presented. Also, scheme presenting correlation of above mentioned terms was introduced. Specific features of professional competency of teachers working with disabled children were considered and analyzed. The structure of professional competency of such teachers was determined and presented in tabular form. Major components of professional competency revealing through three aspects: cognitive, practical and personal were identified and presented. Relation of these components formation ensures professional readiness of a teacher who works with disabled children.

The article studies the methods and techniques to translate gerund and gerundial complexes in prose taking into consideration the specificity of this literary genre. The purpose of this article is to reveal the typical translation techniques and grammatical transformations that are most often used in the translation of a literary text. This theme is relevant because the methods of gerund reproducing in the literary text have not been studied in detail. A comparative analysis of the original text and the corresponding Russian text was carried out. Semantic, lexical, grammatical and syntactical peculiarities of translation are investigated. The question of the influence of the contextual environment, mini-context and macro-context on the regularities of translation is considered. As a result, several translation techniques typical for this Russian version of the novel were revealed. The author comes to the conclusion that when translating a literary text it is important to take into account the whole set of factors. The practical significance of the article lies in the fact that it can be used as a teaching material in the classroom of translation studies in pedagogical higher education institutions. The article may be of interest to everyone working in the field of translation studies.

The article is devoted to the research of perception of existential potential of the personality and Dostoyevsky's creativity by the Russian religious philosophers of the turn of the XIX–XX centuries. Religious philosophers revealed the mechanism of realization of philosophical potential of existential anthropology of Dostoyevsky in his works of art and an ego-documents. Religious philosophers are concentrated not on detection of compliance of views of Dostoyevsky to a moral and philosophical paradigm of existentialism, and on the search of existential meanings of creativity of the writer and corresponding to them existential in the fundamental principle of ways of a text creation. Representatives of the Russian kosmizm for the first time approached to existential interpretation of the worldview of the writer, both artistic and personal, created under the influence of empirical impressions and esthetic experiences. The review summarizes literary data on a problem of alcohol dependence among various ethnic groups of Russia and the world. The results of studies show the significant influence of ethnicity on the development of alcoholdependent behavior. Special attention is paid to studies of the characteristics of alcohol consumption by indigenous people of the Far North of Russia. The paper analyses the preconditions to the formation of alcohol dependence among ethnic groups in Northern populations. Acculturation and acculturative stress are designated as conditions conducive to the development of alcohol dependence among representatives of native populations. Ethno-culturally competence is identified as the main characteristics of the strategy for the treatment and prevention of substance use disorders among different ethnic groups.

There isn’t an aspect of social policy or experience that isn’t deeply caught up in disability issues. Disability is one of the great issues, like race, class and gender. Attitudes, beliefs, and misconceptions of society constitute a major barrier for people with disabilities. Attitude change can follow on heightened awareness, increased contact, and increased meaningful communication between disabled and non-disabled people. Although personal interaction is the most effective medium for conveying the personal experience of disability, the mass media can be an effective vehicle for bringing about greater understanding, and a consequent gradual change in public perceptions of people with disabilities. Language reflects the world around us and also constitutes the ways we understand and experience it. One aspect of the study on disability involves examining the words we use and the ways in which language represents persons and beliefs about them. The language used to talk about disability and disabled persons has changed over time. History, theory, advocacy, politics, and culture influence how disability is expressed and represented. The emergence of new paradigms of disability, the disability rights movement and disability studies, and other changes in culture bring attention to the ways that we talk about and depict disability. Examining varied perspectives on disability reveals considerable variation in language related to disability and how it is regarded. The article is devoted to the cognitive and discursive, contextual analysis of the disability terms based on the Internet articles of the Russian and American magazines, journals and newspapers: AiF, Rossiyskaya gazeta, Moskovskiy Komsomolets, lenta.ru; New York Times, National Geographic, Time, People, Scientific American, Fortune.

The article deals with the process of teaching reading of English-language legal texts in educational establishments of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, which consists in targeting the professional needs of future employees of law enforcement agencies. Applying of the author to this topic is due to the fact that the process of teaching foreign language is associated with the formation of the ability to generate and interpret information in a foreign language in the process of professional activity, the need to read special literature and documents, to communicate with foreign colleagues on professional topics. The author pays close attention to the issues of taking into account the peculiarities of the legal text. The author defines the basic methods of removing difficulties when dealing with English-language legal literature, for example, by creating a bank of textual material and brief comments on individual terms and concepts. The text should serve to further develop skills of professionally-oriented reading in the specialty, as well as filling the vocabulary. The Anglo-Saxon system of law is a unique system that is based on completely different principles than the common law system. Acquaintance with its specifics within the framework of legal courses in the native language is practically absent and does not provide some acceptable extralinguistic basis for effective reading of English-language legal literature. Thus, in the process of reading, cadets should have a clear understanding of what exactly is being discussed, what place the problems discussed are in the system of law, law enforcement activities of foreign countries, etc., that is, it is oriented generally in the problems addressed in specific text that he reads.

Today the necessity of changes in the field education is recognized. The problem of contemporary situation in higher education is pointed out which is characterized by internal conflict. Orientation on educational services leads to more professionalzed education. Higher education faces difficult choice of finding out optimal ways of its further development: to teach students to learn or to provide them with full information on knowledge, facts or theories. Theoretically, this problem is decided, the practical decision is being still awaited, and teacher will play here the most important part.
