2171 | The second part of the article presented in this publication continues the discussion about the contextual study of the play by Alexander Vampilov Last Summer in Сhulimsk. The study is based on the criticism methodology of studying of the literature that is relevant in contemporary literature and reveals the themes, problems, plots, motives common for the world literary space. The author’s model of the play by Alexander Vampilov, who worked in the tideway of a nonclassical art paradigm, is based on the free variation of elements of known plots (in particular, the above mentioned Romeo and Juliet) which act here as a cultural model. The most attention in the article is given to the devices of disclosing of the semantic potential of images of the main characters – Luka and Yeremeyev, to determination of their functions in the logic of the action and the location in the system of characters. It is noted that its characteristic feature is the multiple-level system of the action consisting of a set of plot lines, each of which has its reference, thus following to the literary model is obviously broken. The systematic displacement of accents in the solution of «another’s» plot allows one to build the author’s original concept of a person and the world. Originally, they were not indifferent to the semantics of the nouns and joined to certain names only. The comparative analysis of nouns with consonantal elements -j-, -w-, -n- in Gothic convinces us of the ancient origin of the markers -j-, -w- as the morphological structure of the word allows to reveal earlier elements. Every stem-building marker with a consonantal element possesses its specific feature and expresses more concrete lexical meaning. The original meaning of the consonantal markers -j-, -w- was connected with an earlier category – category of animateness/inanimateness, i.e. they were markers of animateness but they lost this meaning. 2190 | The article deals with the formation of Rokossovsky's identity that occurred through identifications with significant others (primarily with parents and ordinary hardworking people during his biographical experiences, and also with «the characters of his favourite books» as they are perceived). These others may be divided into benign such that Konstantin aspired to their characteristics, values and beliefs (a process of idealistic-identification), or malign when he wished to dissociate from their characteristics. The article shows that Rokossovsky’s identity is formed predominantly by a choice of certain characteristics. The construction of an individual sense of self is achieved by personal choices regarding who and what to associate with. Rokossovsky’s identity is defined as the totality of his self-construal, in which he expresses the continuity between how the charismatic people were in the past and how Rokossovsky construes himself as he aspires to be in the future.
