GENDER AND SEXUAL EDUCATION OF CHILDREN IN THE EARLY 80’S – LATE 90-IES OF THE XX CENTURY
Discusses the development of ideas about gender and sexual education of children of preschool age in our country during the beginning of the 80’s to late 90-ies of XX century. This period is characterized by the weakening of the state power and reduction of ideological and social control. This has led to active penetration of foreign scientists’ ideas in the domestic pedagogical theory. The interest of the Soviet researchers to gender issues has increased. The education reform contributed to the implementation of preschool educational institutions alternative programs that have created positive conditions for the development and implementation of systems of sexual education of children of preschool age.
