3 | This article is based on the results of the first re¬search on the history of physical culture in the univer¬sities of Tomsk. The reader can find in it the names of teachers, trainers, sportsmen, managers and those who organized and developed physical culture and sports in universities in 1945-1955. 5 | The article describes how the integrated health-improving aerobics exercise programme based on the body ballet technique may increase physical and theoretical fitness, boost motivation of technical university students. Training effects of the integrated programme are compared with the results gained by doing exercises of traditional type. The approach under experiment includes a programme aimed at target training of aerobics capacity, strength as well as at learning body movement skills. The programme features some peculiarities of students’ theoretical background implementation and is carried out in a step-by-step way. A number of tests have been used to determine the efficiency of both experimental and traditional methods. 6 | The purpose of the article is in perfection of a control system by training process of gorodki players-sportsmen of 10-15 years on the basis of application of the developed modeling characteristics of physical readiness. Experimental and control groups were formed by the gorodki players-sportsmen in the age of 10-15 years of Tomsk region sports schools. Modeling characteristics of physical readiness of gorodki players- sportsmen of different age groups were developed by the author. Modeling characteristics are the parameters of physical readiness which make critical impact on the sports result in this kind of sports. 7 | Step-by-step health-education program is developed aimed at giving practical help to patients in the assessment and timely correction of their physical and psychological conditions by cardiovascular diseases. 10 | In the article an attempt to identifi cation of modern football in the process of competitive activity in all its diversity from professional from professional sports management to intra football and by football segments of mass culture, in which fans are an integral and inseparable part of it. 14 | Nowadays, according to the economic growth and work performance growth, a request for qualification of labor class becomes stricter. Due to this fact the requirements for professional and applied fitness trainings for employees change. Job analysis, which reveals a list of physical qualities for potential railway employees were represented. Methods and means for physical trainings, which were introduced into curriculum, were suggested. 15 | The article shows retrospective stages in the development of physical culture in the Tomsk region, including the pre-revolutionary period and the 1920–1940 years. The authors stated objective preconditions and causes of beginning of Faculty of Physical Education, founded in 1949 in Tomsk, the history of its formation and development as the first faculty to provide training of physical education teachers with higher education for the vast Siberian territories from the Urals to the Pacific Ocean. Names teachers-graduates of prestigious universities of Leningrad, who arrived to organize educational and methodical work on the newly created structural division of the Pedagogical Institute. The main objective of the authors was to show the role of people: teachers, creators and enthusiasts of the educational, research and training process, which made an invaluable contribution to the history of the university. The information provided is only a small part of the great work that has been completed, which was carried out and will be continued in Tomsk State Pedagogical University.
