This article is devoted to the analysis of functions of metaphors in the structure of a narrative. Modern understanding of such concepts as discourse metaphor and metaphorical subtexts are being described. A hypotheses that the metaphorical fields play the integrating role being the bridge between referent and communical sides of the narrative is being suggested. The analysis of the ways of metaphorical indexation of a narrative strategy is based on B. Pasternak's novel Doctor Zhivago. Narrative strategy is regarded as a kind of interaction between the subject, object and adressee of discourse. B. Pasternak's novel implements the strategy of 'revelation' bearing such important characteristics as narrator being an impersonal one, the story being a 'quest for the sence', convergent position of a reader being programmed. This communication model is expressed not only at the levels of plot events and themes, but also by using specific metaphorical fields. This article deals with the particular subtext of 'cover and revelation' which is represented in the text of the novel by images of fabric, threads, sewing, knitting that can be found in descriptions of many different plot events and characters. Conclusion is drawn that the narration in the novel is a 'cover' for poetry and, contrawise, Zhivago's poems depend of the narrative events.

Kolpakova Lyudmila Viktorovna THE MANIFESTATION OF GENDER SPECIFICITY OF THE EMOTIONAL SPHERE IN THE LANGUAGE // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2018. Issue 6 (195). P. 62-67

The article considers gender peculiarity of emotion manifestations: the degree of expression, feelings intensity, emotional spectrum. Traces the reflection of the psychological characteristics identified in the speech of men and women as one of the levels of human emotion. It is proved that gender-specific features of speech behavior of native speakers of a particular language can be detected through the analysis of language structures at the morphemic, lexical and syntactic levels. Describes a group of emotionally loaded language elements, on the basis of the comparative analysis reveals gender differences in their use in the text. The quantitative and substantial difference in the use of linguistic means in male and female texts that confirm the gender peculiarities of the emotional sphere of the personality is consistently traced. The study confirmed that gender differences are reflected in communication, manifested in the language and can be studied using linguistic methods. Different for the two sexes experiences arising from gender roles, lead to the fact that the skills and perception in men and women is partly different, which is manifested on the verbal level. Language reveals the ways in which manifested a big emotional freedom of women, intensity of emotions, the difference of the spectrum: women’s positive evaluation, appropriate for men negative connotation. The results of the content analysis of language means are summarized and presented in the table.

The article is about country stewards – a middle class of the local administration of Kolyvano-Voskresenskiy (Altai) mountain district. Their participation in organization of factory work of pripisnoi (bonded) peasants is investigated.. It is shown how country stewards watched by volostnoi government in time of composing preliminary appointment for peasants with factory duties and how they provided peasants’ dispatch for working according to this appointment. It is established that during peasants’ dispatch stewards took into account time and climatic factors as well as they took charge of the progress of peasants’ factory work. The cases of country stewards’ personal participation in mobilization of pripisnoi (bonded) peasantry class for factory work as well as a degree of their responsibility in this business are considered.

The article considers the specificity of the comic issues in the late works by Vsevolod Solovyov (1843–1903). In early works he revealed his mostly dramatic and tragic aspects of Russian history, and in the 1890-s the writer turned to the comic theme. On the one hand, it was caused by his desire to consider the novel “The Tsar’s Embassy” aspects of the dialogue of cultures, on the other hand, satirically depicted followers of spiritualism in the novel “Wicked vortices”.

The paper presents the results of the analysis of the morphosyntactic components expressing the Path semantic component in the translational motion event which are referred to as directional verbal satellites following L. Talmy’s typology. The attempt has been made to characterize the Ket language using Talmy’s typologies of lexicalization patterns, as well as D. Slobin’s typology of the expression of motion events. The conclusion has been drawn that Ket belongs to satellite-framed languages (in L. Talmy’s typology), and to high-path-salient but low-manner-salient languages (in D. Slobin’s typology); the verb root characteristically does not confl ate the semantic components, but expresses only the Motion component.

The article examines the views of populist A. Prugavin on the sectarianism as a part of the society in the Russian Empire in the last third of the XIX century. The article considers changes in the methodology of teaching of bachelors of technological education in the XXI century which were caused by the development of educational robotics. The creation of an educational robotics was initiated by the introduction of robots in technological processes of production, by the emergence of robots in the service sector and by the use of robots in the army. The development of the robotics involves changing the methodology for preparing technology teachers. The teacher must possess the competencies, which will be sufficient for teaching pupils to the basics of robotics in schools at the lessons of “Technology” and in the classroom of technical creativity during the time free from the lessons. The article describes the training of bachelors of technological education in Herzen State Pedagogical University with the aim to exchange experiences. The educational robotics has changed the methodology of training of bachelors of technological education in Herzen State Pedagogical University. The bachelors of technological education in Herzen State Pedagogical University learn different cybernetic robotic platforms and programming of the robots in order not only to teach “Technology” in schools, but also to work in FabLabs. The algorithm of training of bachelors of technological education for the educational robotics is as follows: a) study of the physics of robots LEGO Mindstorms NXT (LEGO EV3); b) study of the language of RobotC programming; c) study of the ScratchDuino (robots and laboratory); d) use of Arduino boards for projects; g) study of the work environment TRIK Studio and of the robots TRIK.

The article is connected with one of the main problems of methodology of forming intercultural competence in teaching Russian language to foreign students-philologists – working out principles of selecting teaching texts. With the help of the analysis of common factors, that affect functioning of all pedagogical systems, we have worked out and systematized 8 particular principles of selecting teaching texts for forming intercultural competence. Basing on the general factor of “taking the teaching goals into account” we have put forward the principles of the communicative, intercultural, educational, informative and the developing value of the text. Basing on the general factor of “taking the teaching conditions into account” we have worked out principle of “the correspondence of the text with the profile of higher education for foreign students”. Basing on the factor of “taking into account the characteristics of students” we have put forward principle of the correspondence of the text with the students’ language level and principle of taking the native culture of foreign students into consideration. In the article we also described 12 criteria, which allow implementing these principles in the process of selection of educational texts. According to the principles and the criteria, it was confirmed that, Russian texts for children’s reading, which are regarded as an important means of popular pedagogy, can be used as teaching material. The system of the principles and criteria is presented in the form of a table.
