2404 | The article is devoted to the methodological problem of formation of historical linguistic competence of the foreigners studying the Russian language. The current researches on this issue are generalized. The work systematizes some main Pro and Contra factors of the inclusion, extent, methodological appropriateness of the historical linguistics lessons and tasks in the system of Russian training of foreign students. It represents the argumentation that the historical linguistic commentary is the optimal and the most effective form of teaching of the history of the Russian language for foreign audience. Some cases of its rational use are researched. In particular, one of these cases deals with the techniques of Russian words semantization. Etymological analysis is an effective method of semantization, which deals with the living connections of the word. Conscious awareness of the Russian language actualizes a conscious study of non-systemic facts of the Russian phonetics, grammar and spelling. Historical linguistic commentary for foreign audience also has great cultural potential. The internal form of the words allows understanding the Russian language consciousness and receiving objective information about Russian culture. 2405 | The article is devoted to the problem of folklore plot representation. The author analyzes the plot “three stolen princesses”. The above mentioned plot is regarded to be one of the most ancient and frequent not only in folklore but also in the world literature. The description of this plot according the Aarne-Thompson classification is the following: the hero is of supernatural origin and strengths, with two extraordinary companions he comes to a house in the woods, the hero follows the monster through a hole into the lower world, he conquers several monsters and rescues three maidens, he presents a ring and marries one of the princesses. The peculiarities of this plot representation are analyzed in Russian folk tales and Selkup fairy tales. In most Russian folk tales all episodes of the plot are described: the hero travels from place to place, fights with monsters and finally finds his bride whom he marries. On the contrary, in Selkup fairy tales this plot is usually shown in a simplified form. Alongside with “three stolen princesses” plot several other plots are represented in Selkup fairy tales: “magic runaway” plot, “magic ring/object” plot, “a dragon slayer” plot, etc. Complex composition and mixture of different plots is a characteristic feature of Selkup prose folklore. The author comes to the conclusion that Selkup folklore is a complex linguistic phenomenon influenced by folklore traditions of neighbouring ethnic groups. Comparative folklore studies provide important information about plot origin and ancient ethnic worldviews. Keywords: folklore, “three stolen princesses” plot, composition, motive, episode, character, Russian folk tales, Selkup fairy tales | 933
2406 | A comparative analysis of the following plays: Vampilov’s Last summer in Chulimsk and Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliette is conducted. The relevance of the paper is defined by revealing of contextual connections of works of the domestic playwright with the world literature. This direction is intensively developing in modern literary criticism; on the one hand, it defines continuity of the creative search, on the other hand, it defines the individual creative manner of the writer and his or her creative tasks. The analysis of the transformation of a Shakespearean plot shows the possibilities of polysemantic interpretation of the play of the modern playwright. The author of the article considers mechanisms of change of the subject scheme about a young couple in love, functions of the characters, typology of images of the characters. Unlike the writers underlining the presence of “another’s plot”, Vampilov creates extremely realistic works. Nevertheless, the system of subject motives (confession of love, compelled parting, an intercepted note, undesirable matchmaking, duel of contenders etc.) allows us to reconstruct an initial Shakespearean plot in Vampilov’s play, to reveal literary implied sense. An art strategy of the writer is the refusal of the direct following to the logic of the known plot, the use of recognised plot situations, details, remarks as initial for inversion development of the action and opposite motivation of heroes’ behaviour. It allows us to prove the internal creative reasons of occurrence of the second (final) edition of the play – the play with the new name and change of the tragic ending. Keywords: domestic drama of 1970-ies, the literary context, Shakespeare, transformation of the plot | 933
