1551 | The article examines teaching methods aimed at developing students’ intercultural communicative competence whilst studying interpretation using collaborative activity pedagogy developed by G. N. Prozumentova. A special attention is paid to description of three collaborative activity organization models (authoritative, leadership, partnership). Authoritative model corresponds to closed collaborative activity which depends solely on the educator without any go-aheadedness of the learner; leadership model corresponds to “adressed” collaborative activity which implies a certain dialog between the educator and the learner, thus a certain independence of the learner; partnership model is associated with open collaborative activity involving a full-scale dialog between two equal partners - the learner and the educator. The partnership model is presumed as the most effective way of forming students’ intercultural communicative competence since it allows the partners to develop their own meanings, to grow personally and to encourage mutual personal enrichment. The educational experiment designed to develop intercultural communicative competence included different types of translation and interpretation exercices. These learning tasks were classified as either reproductive, constructive or creative which corresponds to three collaborative activity model types. The research has proved that the co-organisation of all three models with an emphasis laid to open (partnership) model has found to be the most effective way of developing students’ intercultural communicative competence as well as their interpretation skills. 1552 | The vocative is considered as a very important element of epistolary discourse. This article is devoted to description of the vocatives in structural and semantic aspect in epistolary heritage feature of A. P. Chekhov. Letters of famous writers – an important source, which plays a big role for the study of personality and creativity of their authors, historical events, the characteristics of the era, as well as people who are close to them and familiar, with which they communicate. In this respect, a great interest is the epistolary heritage of the great Russian playwright Anton Pavlovich Chekhov. As the material for the analysis serve the letters written by the writer to the large audience for the period of 1890. In this correspondence the vocatives were analyzed, as the most interesting and revealing element of the original style of the great writer, and in particular important element of national and cultural heritage in general. The purpose of work is to examine the structure and the functions of vocatives used in Chekhov’s letters, to reveal their specific character in his correspondence. In the analysis of vocatives’ structure there have been allocated a group of extended and non-extended vocatives. The goup of words, which distribute the vocative is the adjectives. In this paper it has also been highlighted in the form of references in official business and personal correspondence of Chekhov. In the Chekhov’ correspondence the leading place is occupied by the personal writer’s letters. Summarizing the analysis, we can conclude that the vocatives in Chekhov’s letters generally perform two functions: the nominative and the characterization function, which shows the relationship between the author and the addressee. Traditional motives of suicide in Western drama are fault redemption, a desperate situation, honor, love, search for death as a form of “hidden suicides”. Russian Drama of the 19th century transfers motive of suicide from tragedy to a tragic farce or to “a comedy with suicide” by entering the motives “shammer of dead” and “unmotivated” suicide, which complicates the genre and distorts the mechanism of genre expectations. On the whole they denote animate objects of the real world or objects played the relevant role in economic life of the Germanic people. There are nouns marked by these stem-building markers, which express possession. Such nouns have the meaning of pertaining to something or somebody. We might conclude that the consonantal marker -j- is the characteristic of nouns of all three genders, therefore it didn’t relate to the grammatical category of gender, which was formed later. As the marker is rather old (Corbett), the original meaning of -j- was connected with an earlier category – category of animateness/inanimateness, i.e. it was the marker of animateness. This is determined by the semantic and etymological analyses of the Gothic ja-, jM-stems. It is possible to subdivide the Gothic nouns of ja-, jM-stems denoting animate things in perception of ancient people into six groups: 1) nouns denoting people and their occupation; 2) nouns of relationship; 3) nouns denoting animals and plants; 4) nouns denoting realities bound up with a person or animal; 5) nouns in any case pertaining to a person and his activity; 6) nouns denoting natural phenomena. | 1015 | |||||
