The article is devoted to philosophical and pedagogical problems of forming and developing the culture of a teacher. It proves the relationship of the notions “philosophical” and “pedagogical culture”, shows the author’s approach to the definition of pedagogical culture, analyses the components of the notion and the results of concrete empirical research in the field of raising the level of professional skill of a pedagogue on the basis of an educational establishment
