DIACHRONICAL ASPECT OF SEMANTIC DERIVATION (by the Material of Emotive Words of the Old Russian Language)
The article is devoted to investigating the models of semantic derivation in the Old Russian Language. The analysis is focused on the metaphorical denotation of the basic emotions, joy, sorrow, fear, anger etc. The insufficiency of the data about the dia-chronical aspect of emotive vocabulary makes the research topical.
