REFLEXIVE ESSAY AS A MEANS OF DEVELOPMENT OF PROFESSIONAL SELF-CONCEPT OF THE FUTURE TEACHERS
In the article the author shows the interpretation of the meaning of “teacher’s professional self-concept”. The necessity of formation and development of teacher’s professional self-concept during the course of high school preparation is established. The results of the analysis, interpretation and understanding of the empirical data relating to the study of the features of the future teachers’ professional self-concept are given. Article’s submissions are based on the use of the method of analysis of the products of activity (reflective essay) obtained by identifying first-year students’ concepts about “professional”. The research work was organized at the Pedagogical Department of Tomsk State Pedagogical University.
