FUNCTIONING OF COMPARATIVE CONSTRUCTIONS IN DIFFERENT TYPES OF SUBORDINATE CLAUSES (DATA: GERMAN LANGUAGE)
The article is devoted to the question of the functioning of comparative constructions in different types of subordinate clauses on the material of the newspaper text. We examine the structure of comparative constructions in object and attributive subordinate clauses, which receive emotional expressive colouring thanks to comparison. The laconism and figurativeness of the transmitted information are realized by means of syntactic contamination of meanings.
