CORRECTION OF ENERGY METABOLISM IMPRAIMENTS IN TETRACHLORMETHANE-POISONED RAT LIVER TISSUE BY MEANS OF SAPROPEL LIPIDS
Energy metabolism was studied in poisoned rat liver tissue after application of sapropel lipid extracts and its fractions. Total extract and its polar fractions affected distinctly the energy metabolism and ultrastructure of hepatocytes. The restoring influence of sapropel lipids appears to occur due to hoth their chemical composition and adaptogenic effect on intracellular reparation.
