THE DIALOGUES WITH THE READERS IN ANGLO-SCOTTISH AND RUSSIAN HISTORIOGRAPHICAL TRADITION OF THE LATE ENLIGHTENMENT
The article is devoted to the comparative analysis of the dialogues with the readers in the narratives of the late Enlightenment. The research achieves, that M. M. Shcherbatov and N. M. Karamzin followed communicative canons, which obtained the recognition of the European scientific association owing to the historical works by D. Hume, W. Robertson, E. Gibbon.
