The article is devoted to the analysis of associative-semantic correlation oil – food significant in the Russian poetry of a revolutionary time. It is proved that concept oil inclusion in a discourse of the Russian poetry becomes one of the significant elements of updating of a lingvocultural code of an era towards technicism and a mechanicism peculiar to modernist and vanguard art consciousness in the 10ies – 20ies of the 20th century.
