THE THEME OF POOR PEOPLE IN “SCHWARZWALD VILLAGE STORIES” BY B. AUERBACH AND “HUNTER’S NOTES” BY I. S. TURGENEV
“Hunter’s Notes” by I. S. Turgenev and “Schwarzwald village stories” by B. Auerbach are compared in this article. On the basis of peculiarities of world outlook and poetic method of these writers, the state Russian and German literature in the 40-s of the 19th century conclusions of similarity and difference between these works are made.
