In the work a short review of formation and development of the system of historical education in teacher training colleges, universities and academies of Siberia in the 30s of the 20th century and in the beginning of the 21st century is presented. Siberian region is considered within the limits of the administrative-territorial division of the Russian Federation established now and on the territory, mainly, coincides with the Siberian Federal district.
