THE MAIN APPROACHES TO THE INTERPRETATION OF DEFINITIONS “COMPETENCE” AND “COMPETENCY BUILDING” ABROAD AND THEIR CONTENT
The article discusses the various definitions and approaches to using the concepts of “competence”, “competency building” in the dominant European models: the U.S., Great Britain, France and Germany, which developed independently of one another. Comparing these characteristics, we try to identify the main approaches to the treatment of the studied concepts and their meaningful content within the system typology of competencies
