In the given article the Russian bank associations and the unions are considered, the purposes and problems of their activity, the role for national economy are in detail studied. The received results specify in a considerable role of bank associations and the unions both for regions, and for Russia as a whole. They represent itself as defenders of banks, intermediaries between the government, the Central bank, foreign countries and innovators.
