LITERARY CONTEXTS OF V.V.NABOKOV’S NOVEL “ADA, OR ARDOR: A FAMILY CHRONICLE” (ON AN EXAMPLE OF MOTIVE OF INCEST)
The plot of the novel by V. V. Nabokov “Ada, or Ardor: a Family chronicle” represents a complex combination of motives both Russian, and the European literature. The special place in the plot structure is occupied with the motives borrowed by V. V. Nabokov from the literature of romanticism; among loan sources products R. Shatobrian (“Rene”) are allocated. In the article the problem of functioning of motives of the literature of romanticism in structure of the postmodernist novel by V. V. Nabokov is discussed.
