HISTORY STUDYING BY THE RUSSIAN CLERGY IN THE SECOND HALF OF THE 18TH – BEGINNING OF THE 20TH CENTURIES
This article is devoted to the study of the period of establishment of ecclesiastical historical science. The general laws and differences of historical compositions (for examples, works by metropolitan Platon (Levshin), metropolitan Eugene (Bolkhovitinov), archimandrite Innokentii (Smirnov), communication with secular historical science and public ideology are revealed.
