URGENT PROBLEMS AND PERSPECTIVES OF PSYCHOEDUCATIONAL AND MEDICAL-SOCIAL SUPPORT OF EDUCATIONAL AND UPBRINGING PROCESSES OF CHILDREN WITH DISABILITIES
In two regions of Siberia (Buryat Republic and Tomsk Region) 268 schoolchildren in special schools – children with disabilities have been examined. Mental disorders (disturbance of psychological development, speech disturbance, mental deficiency and others) were detected in 90.7 % of children in special schools. The authors show characteristics of parental attitudes to a child with disabilities (denial of defect, guilt feeling, hyper- or hypo-care, and rented installations). Reference directions of programs of psycho educational and medical-social support are presented.
