In this article main notions that are included in the frame system “Calendar vocabulary” in Khanty and Selkup languages are illuminated. These languages are not genetically related to each other but they coexist in the same areal on the territory of western Siberia for a long time. A comparative analysis of elements which exist in this system or which miss from it is held.
