ENTOMOLOGICAL VOCABULARY OF THE SELCUP LANGUAGE AS A REPRESENTATION OF SELCUP’S MYTHOLOGICAL PICTURE OF THE WORLD
The paper considers some peculiarities of Selcup world creation and its influence on the formation of entomological vocabulary in the Selcup language. The names of insects were systematized and their morphemic division let us define their possible initial meaning for the Selcup nation.
