In the article there are considered the bases of creation of the cultural creative environment as the system-forming component of educational process, and also the role and functions of the cultural creative environment in the educational process. The author suggests applying the cultural creative environment as a basis for teaching oral foreign language communication to mature students under the conditions of the advanced vocational training.
