REVOLUTION AND FREEDOM IN PERCEPTION OF THE SIBERIAN CITIZENS AND PRISONERS OF WAR: MARCH – OCTOBER OF 1917 (ON MATERIALS OF THE OMSK MILITARY-CLEAENCE COMMISSION)
On materials of the reports seen by military censors of the Omsk military-clearance commission, the evolution of views of the West Siberian townspeople and prisoners of war on revolutionary events in Russia during the period from March till October 1917 is traced. Thereat, the main attention is given to the analysis of perception by townspeople of the found civil freedom, to their feelings and the experiences connected with changes in city daily occurrence during a revolutionary epoch.
