HISTORICAL AND ETYMOLOGICAL GENESIS OF THE VERBS OF MOVE HORIZONTALLY IN THE CONTEMPORARY ENGLISH LANGUAGE
The article is devoted to the diachronic study of verbal vocabulary based on the example of the complex analysis of verbal units, which compose the group of the verbs of move horizontally in the contemporary English. The general meaning of the article is the classification of the verbs of move horizontally as the fundamental criterion of the isolation of semantic subgroups and the historic-etymological analysis of the lexical units of this subgroup in the system of historical evolution.
