The characteristic feature of the modern stages of peda¬gogical diagnostics is striving for making up the full concep¬tion of studying the formation of students outlook: from the definition of the content of understanding the phenomenon itself to the investigation of the conditions of its appearance and of the role of different factors in this process. To solve such an important problem as psychological diagnostics of the process of outlook formation we must not limit ourselves only to the improvement of already existing methods. The search of new approaches to the problem is urgent. The results received in the course of the diagnostic re¬search let affirm that the aims of natural scientific outlook will be able to be reached if the integrated course «Natural Science» is introduced into schools curriculum. In this case the integration of natural scientific knowledge goes not formally but following a strict logic on the basis of the study of fundamental regularities of nature.
