The present article is dedicated to the description of different ways of realization of one of the key archetypes of the poet's creative work - «life - motion» - in the lexical structure of the poetic texts of I. Brodsky. On the basis of the communicative study of the lexical means some prominent peculiarities of the poet's ideostyle are found out.
