The contemporary cultural situation as a transition from modem to postmodern culture.
The author examines the cultural situation of the pre¬sent in the article «The contemporary cultural situation as a transition from modem to postmodern culture». There are two general points of view on that subject: some re¬searchers suppose that this transition has been done and some are sure that it has been created artificially and the epoch of Modem hasn't been made jet. Having analyzed some home and foreign sources of literature the main characteristics of modem and postmodern cultures have been revealed. It proves that the human culture is in the transitional period.
