In the article the problems of the integrated evalua¬tion of the regions' social and economic level of deve¬lopment are divided into five groups. The authors' rea¬son of consolidation of the regions into separate groups is based on the specific features of the motion vectors of the parameters of their development and according to the level of the social and economic potential of the regions.
