Problem of shaping of an integrated individual in modern education and S.I. Gessens’s philosophic-pedagogical anthropology.
S.I. Gessen’s philosophic-pedagogical concept, which was formulated in his work “Principles of pedagogics. Introduction to the application philosophy”, is analysed in the paper. The significance of his pedagogic-anthropological ideas for modern education philosophy and emerging interdisciplinary branch of knowledge – educology – is revealed.
