THE EMPIRICAL BASE OF FOLK-LORE: THE PAST AND THE PRESENT
In the course of linguo-cognitive study of folk-lore language the empirical base include a number of comparable set of linguistic facts: a total of folk-lore nominations; data from individual author's texts, as well as from colloquial speech and dialects; material of associative experiment. In this article we describe the semantics of folk-lore language facts direct in the light of the contents of associative fields. It allow us to show that verbal code is a reliable sourсe of the ethnocultural information.
