True article is devoted to functioning of an author's metaphor in art texts Mayakovsky, Block, Yesenin, Prishvin. Use of names of fauna in structure of a metaphor is old tradition of Russian poetry and prose. Animistic metaphor is especially active in poetry of the beginning of XX century. Special a particular this type of a metaphor in poetry Mayakovsky, Yesenin, Block differs. In prose Prishvin use animistic metaphors with other semantic filling proceeds.
