The article is devoted to the questions of pupils training for career choice and successful learning in the field based on the knowledge of physics. The consideration of the objectives, tasks and the peculiarities of career-oriented education at the present stage of its development are analyzed in the article. A training system for career-oriented education of the basic school pupils in the process of studying physics is proposed on the bases of problem-activity approach. The knowledge of the system can be helpful for teachers of physics, methodologists, students of physics departments, managers in the education service.
