1 | It is shown that in broadband transistor amplifiers with minimum-phase two-port compensation networks, a non-minimum-phase shift of transistor does not signifi¬cantly influences phase and transient responses. Thus, the design of amplifiers with desired phase and transient responses can be reduced to providing a suitable ampli¬tude-frequency characteristic, as in the case of mini¬mum-phase circuits. The design examples of ultra-wideband amplifiers with prescribed phase and transient responses are presented. | 949
2 | A method of analysis of linear noisy microwave circuits with arbitrary topology is proposed based on introduced topological scattering matrix. It allows the solution of two types of problems on the common basis: 1) analysis of networks consisting of multiport components; 2) de¬termination of scattering and noise wave matrices of networks while changing node currents and voltages. The method is implemented in CAD tool for symbolic analysis of microwave circuits, MICROSYMA, using the MapleV environment Examples of solving microwave circuit symbolic analysis problems with computer are presented. | 1011
3 | A new interactive technology called "visual calculations" is presented. In this technology, the visual model of problem is created clearly showing the interdepend¬ence of graphic images of input and output data. The technology is based on finding and visualizing projec¬tions of multidimensional regions. Due to combining the power of computer and great intellectual abilities of hu¬man, it allows to essentially improve efficiency in solving various complicated computational problems. The paper focuses on solving two classes of problems with "visual" technology: finding multiple solutions of nonlinear systems of equations and multicriterion problems. | 1066 |
