The Sunny Socialism of the novel «Chevengur» by A. Platonov // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2001. Issue 1 (26). P. 62-68

The author of the paper enters into polemics with the opinion which has become basic in studying Piatonov's creative work that A. Platonov in his novel «Chevengur» as well as in other works is critisizing socialism and collective farming. As a result of scrupulous analysis of the writer's texts, the author comes to the conclusion, that his artistic thought of the mature period is correlated with the idea of the noosphere according to academician Vernnadsky.

Analyzing "Musorny Veter" and other works by A. Platonov in the article ""Musorny Veter" by A. Platonov: the debate with R. Decarte", K.A. Barsht comes to the conclusion that a writer-philosopher perceives the human consciousness as the "substance-energy" of self-developing matter, the main function of which is to produce, accumulate and distribute the energy of "thought-love" as one of the most valuable types of energy filling of Cosmos.

The scientific revolution of the end 19th – beginning 20th century had a great importance on the formation of Platonov’s world-view. Especially it refers to the Einshtein’s Theory of Relativity and the connected with it polemics about “the ethereal wind”. Platonov studied these conceptions in the beginning of 1920-s as a student of the physical and mathematical faculty, then he was interested in this matter like a philosopher and a man of letters. The article depicts some ways of reflection for these two theories in Platonov’s stories.
