| 1 | The analysis of the problems concerning the scientific approaches to the typology of educational systems is presented in the article. In accordance with the obtained results the most important approaches are singled out. Special attention is paid to the approaches related to the typology of educational systems. The differences and similarities in the definitions and application of these approaches in pedagogy, economics, management, general systems theory, and in other fields of science are determined.
