| 1 | In this article we discuss the basic problems of mathematical education in higher school, which are related primarily to the students’ total lack of motivation in achieving success in learning, as well as the teachers’ lack of understanding of the importance of methods of teaching mathematics, their inability and unwillingness to improve the professional qualities. We suggest effective versions of constructing the educational process, which provide compulsory increase of quality of mathematical education.
