2 | New results referred to the fundamental theory of synchrotron radiation (SR) are to be presented. We thoroughly analyze the relation between the amount of radiation emitted by a scalar particle at the transitions to the rst excited state and to the ground state. Generalizing basic expressions we can follow the evolution of spectral maximum. It turns out there is a condition for radiation maximum to stay at highest harmonic. 3 | Exact methods of relativistic radiation theory have been used to construct indicatrixes of the angular distributions of instantaneous power radiated by an arbitrarily moving relativistic charge. It is assumed that at the moment of emission, the charge path is arbitrarily located relative to the coordinate system. The same technique has been used to study the linear polarization of radiation of an arbitrarily moving particle in the cases of curvature and fan-like radiation.
