PECULARITY OF COMIC ISSUES IN THE VSEVOLOD SOLOVYOV’S LATE WORKS // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2011. Issue 7 (109). P. 100-103

The article considers the specificity of the comic issues in the late works by Vsevolod Solovyov (1843–1903). In early works he revealed his mostly dramatic and tragic aspects of Russian history, and in the 1890-s the writer turned to the comic theme. On the one hand, it was caused by his desire to consider the novel “The Tsar’s Embassy” aspects of the dialogue of cultures, on the other hand, satirically depicted followers of spiritualism in the novel “Wicked vortices”.
