PATHOGRAPHIC TEXT IN EPISTOLARY BY A. P. CHEKHOV // Tomsk State Pedagogical University Bulletin. 2012. Issue 3 (118). P. 158-164

Chekhov’s epistolary is considered in the given article as prose that comprises documentary and artistic genres and allows understanding the writer’s text in its broad sense. The specifics of Chekhovian prose is viewed as the combination of standpoints of the writer, physician and sick person. The author’s game with them forms the pathographic text of the writer in his epistolary.
